BLOOMSDALE, MO. — McGrath & Associates has completed construction of the $5 million Bloomsdale Medical Center, an expansion of Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital in Bloomsdale, located about 50 miles south of St. Louis. The new facility is a regional center for women’s and family health. The center offers diagnostics, breast care and imaging with five exam rooms, digital mammography, as well as conference rooms and a massage area. Archimages was the architect.

COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, MICH. — Bernard Financial Group has arranged a $2 million loan for a building occupied by CVS/Pharmacy. The 10,880-square-foot building is located in Commerce Township, about 35 miles west of Detroit. The borrower is Bogie Commerce Associates II LLC. Dennis Bernard and David Dismondy of Southfield, Mich.-based Bernard Financial Group originated the loan.
CHICAGO — Chicago law firm Franczek Radelet P.C. has signed a 10-year extension of its 36,113-square-foot lease at 300 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago. The 512,350-square-foot, 35-story 300 S. Wacker building is currently 90 percent occupied. Melissa Rubenstein and John Beason of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the building’s owner, an affiliate of Norfolk, Va.-based Harbor Group International, in the transaction. Corby Marx, and Michael Marrion of Transwestern represented Franczek Radelet.
ST. PETERS AND ARNOLD, MO. — Northern Tool + Equipment has signed two, 10-year retail leases in metro St. Louis. One lease was for a 15,061-square-foot building in the Cave Springs Shopping Center, located at 4055 Veterans Memorial Parkway in St. Peters about 30 miles west of St. Louis. Mike Swearngin of Pace Properties represented the landlord in the St. Peters transaction. The second lease was for a 15,631-square-foot building, located at 233 Arnold Crossroads Center in Arnold about 18 miles south of St. Louis. Tom Egan of Wm. Boudoures Co. represented the landlord in the Arnold transaction. Burnsville, Minn.-based Northern Tool + Equipment has more than 70 locations in 14 states and sells a wide variety of products, ranging from consumer goods to industrial and construction equipment. Venture Commercial represented Northern Tool in both transactions.
NEW YORK CITY — Ludlow Associates has sold a four-building, 52-unit apartment complex, located at 144-150 Ludlow St. in New York City to Marolda Properties for $11.8 million. The 40,000-square-foot multifamily property includes five studios, 40 one-bedroom units and seven two-bedroom units. Brian Ezratty, Nancy Tran, Scott Ellard and Aliza Avital of Eastern Consolidated represented the seller in the transaction. Ezratty and Avital also procured the buyer.
PAWTUCKET, R. I. — Washington Trust Commercial Real Estate Group has provided a $4.5 million commercial mortgage loan to Blackstone Place Limited Partnership for the acquisition of Blackstone Place, a 38,000-square-foot retail building located at 727 East Ave. in Pawtucket. The retail space is currently occupied by Rite Aid, Hillside Avenue Family & Community Medicine and Dunkin’ Donuts.
AUBURN, N.Y. — Towne Center Shopping Plaza, located at 315 Genesse St. in Auburn, has sold for $2.2 million to Clinton Hill Auburn Town Center Equities LLC. The Libby Corp. built the 86,000-square-foot plaza in 2000. The plaza was formerly the home of P & C Grocery until its closing, when the parent company of P & C declared bankruptcy in 2009. The property was then foreclosed by T.D. Bank, and Bouck Real Estate was assigned to handle management of the property. Current tenants in the plaza include Advance Auto Parts and Family Dollar.
NEW YORK CITY — Winick Realty Group has been hired by Columbia University to market retail space at 2884 Broadway, between 112th and 113th streets. Formerly occupied by Card-O-Mat, the space is 1,240 square feet on the ground floor with 13-foot ceilings. The retail center is located between two subway stops near the main gate to the campus, and just two storefronts away from the legendary Tom’s Restaurant made famous by the television show Seinfeld.
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) has secured the sale of The Reserve at Saratoga, a 274-unit apartment complex located at 5701 Saratoga Blvd. in Corpus Christi. The community's amenities include an indoor basketball and sport court, outdoor recreational areas, a business center with coffee bar, fitness center, swimming pool, courtyards, gate access, attached and detached garages and covered parking. Will Balthrope, Drew Kile and Scott Lamontagne of IPA advised the seller, a private company based in Baton Rouge, La. The buyer is a joint venture between a California-based equity provider and a Memphis, Tenn.-based operational partner. IPA is the multifamily brokerage division of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Services.
PLANO, TEXAS — HFF has arranged an $11.85 million financing for the 194-unit Wellington at Willow Bend, a garden-style multifamily community located in Plano. The apartment complex is located at 3200 Parkwood Blvd. and is 96.4 percent occupied. The complex features a clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pools and a playground. Matthew Schoenfeldt, Adam Herrin and Jason Bond of HFF arranged the 10-year, 3.9 percent fixed-rate loan through M&T Realty Capital Corp. on behalf of the borrower, an affiliate of Banner Apartments LLC. Proceeds from the loan were used to acquire the property.
