SAN ANTONIO — Travis Commercial Real Estate Services has arranged the sale of the two-story 5859 Farinon, a Class A, 96,000-square-foot office building located in University Park in San Antonio. The property was developed by Milam Real Estate Investors in 2008. The building is fully leased to two tenants. Travis Commercial, along with HFF, represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer, a subsidiary of New York City-based CapLease Inc., a public REIT, was self-represented. Stream Realty will manage the property on behalf of the new ownership.

HOUSTON — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of Devon Professional Building, a 26,735-square-foot retail and office building located at 17300 El Camino Real in Houston. The list price for the property was approximately $2.56 million. Justin Miller of Marcus & Millichap's Houston office represented the seller, a local partnership, in the transaction. Eric Guerrero, Rahul Bijlani and Michael Yu, also of Marcus & Millichap's Houston office, secured and represented the buyer, a partnership.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Commercial Advisors, an independently owned and operated member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, has brokered the sale of Portofino and Montage at North Point Apartments, a 480-unit, Class B apartment portfolio located in northwest San Antonio. The multifamily team of Brandon Lo Porto and Scott Weems of San Antonio Commercial Advisors represented the seller, a New York City-based financial institution, in the transaction. Lo Porto and Weems also procured the buyer, a California-based private investor.

SAN FRANCISCO — The Swig Company has purchased an 88,668-square-foot office building in San Francisco for an undisclosed sum. The four-story property is located at 901 Battery Street. The acquisition also includes a parking structure that resides at 998 Sansome Street. The fully leased building is home to KMD Architects, Viscira, MediaOne, Fox News and New Deal Design. The seller, a partnership that had owned the property for several decades, was represented by Tony Crossley and Erik Hanson of Colliers International. Mee Mee Kiong and Peter Nelson of HSBC Bank provided the acquisition financing.

POMONA, CALIF. — A 355,162-square-foot distribution center in Pomona has sold to CMC Dragon, LP for $28.4 million. It is located at 1388 W. Holt Ave. The furniture manufacturer and importer will be relocating from nearby Fontana. The facility will serve as CMC’s West Coast distribution center. The company will occupy 80 percent of the building. The remaining space will be leased to Nina Footwear, an existing tenant at the building. CMC was represented by Brian McLoughlin and David Fults of Voit’s Greater Los Angeles office. The seller, CH Realty III, was represented by Frank Geraci, Walt Chenoweth, Juan Gutierrez and Patrick Wood of Voit’s Inland Empire office.

SAN FRANCISCO — Wells Real Estate Investment Trust II has purchased a Class A office tower in San Francisco’s Financial District for an undisclosed sum. The 657,000-square-foot tower is located at 333 Market Street. The building is fully leased to Wells Fargo Bank. It has undergone more than $80 million in tenant and capital improvements over the past eight years. The REIT was represented in-house by Keith Willby. The seller was Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives.

LONG BEACH, CALIF. — The Landing at Long Beach has sold to Western National Realty Advisorsfor $46 million. The firm purchased the 206-unit apartment community, which it then dubbed The Landing at Long Beach, through its Western National Realty Fund II, L.P. The community is 98 percent occupied. Western National plans to modernize and reposition the property. The seller was represented by Greg Campbell of Archstone.

PORTLAND, ORE. — Progress Ridge Townsquare, a 213,809-square-foot retail community center in Portland, has received $42 million in financing. The center is located at 14805 SW Barrows Road. The 10-year, 3.7 percent fixed-rate loan will replace a construction loan on the property. Progress Ridge is 86.5 percent leased to New Seasons, Cinetopia, Ace Hardware, Play Boutique, Fuddruckers, Umpqua Bank and Gentle Dental. The loan was arranged by HFF’s Casey Davidson and Lloyd Minten on behalf of Gramor Development. HFF will also service the loan.
