ANDOVER, MASS. — 3D Systems has signed a lease for 57,600 square feet of industrial space at 19 Connector Road in Andover. The company provides 3D content-to-print solutions for customers. 19 Connector Road is a 76,800-square-foot building, which features 20-foot clear ceiling heights. NORTH ATTLEBORO, MASS. and MANCHESTER, CONN. — The Lightstone Group has completed the refinancing of three of its retail centers, totaling 270,000 square feet, in North Attleboro and Manchester. The Bank of the Ozarks provided a three-year, $23 million loan. The properties include Christmas Tree Shops Plaza and Cumberland Avenue Plaza in North Attleboro and Hale Road in Manchester. The properties are more than 94 percent occupied and tenants include Bed Bath & Beyond, Guitar Center and David's Bridal. Lightstone acquired the assets in October 2000.
HOUSTON — ARA has arranged the sale of the 224-unit Silver Leaf, a Class B apartment complex located in Houston's Sharpstown/Westwood submarket. David Wylie, Zach Springer, Russell Jones and Matt Saunders of ARA represented the seller, Philadelphia-based Resource Real Estate, in the transaction. Brooklyn-based Besyata Investment Group is the buyer. The apartment community was built in 1977 and refurbished in 2001. The property is 95 percent occupied.
HOUSTON — NorthMarq Capital has secured $3.8 million in first mortgage refinancing for the 176-unit Villa Ana Apartments, located at 10101 W. Sam Houston Parkway in Houston. John Burke and Chad Owens of NorthMarq's Houston office arranged the 10-year loan on a 25-year amortization schedule through AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance on behalf of the borrower, The CONTI Organization.
HOUSTON — Hunington Properties has arranged the sale of the 10,484-square-foot Crossroads Retail Center, located near the intersection of Highway 290 and FM 1960 in Houston. The property is fully leased to mostly national tenants. Todd Carlson and Larry Riklin of Hunington Properties represented the buyer, a local nonprofit organization, in the transaction. The buyer plans to assume management and leasing duties for the property.
ODESSA — Kenzington's Kloset and The UPS Store have plans to open new locations in Parks Legado Town Center, a 68-acre mixed-use development in Odessa. Phase I of the development is 95 percent leased to tenants including Aim Bank, Cork and Pig Tavern, The Egg and I Restaurant, Press Cafe, Joe James Salon and Day Spa, Marble Slab Creamery, Whitehouse Meat Market and Nutrition Bunker. The development will also include a 120-room Residence Inn, which will open in the spring of 2013.
COMPTON, CALIF. – Prologis has acquired a 132,926-square-foot industrial property in Compton for $9.1 million. It is located at 175 East Manville Street. The firm plans to renovate the building. LAS VEGAS – A 138-unit apartment building located at 121 N. 15th Street in Las Vegas has sold to James E. Wolf for $3.5 million. The seller, Pacifica F Meadows, was represented by Patrick Sauter of NAI Sauter Companies.
WEST HILLS, CALIF. – Westwood Insurance Agency, a QBE FIRST subsidiary, has expanded to 44,436 square feet at the Corporate Pointe in West Hills. The office space is located at 8407 Fallbrook Ave. Westwood has resided at Corporate Pointe for the past eight years. QBE was represented by Dan Sanchez and Gil Ohls of Jones Lang LaSalle. PORTLAND, ORE. – Security Properties Multifamily Fund, along with its East Coast institutional joint venture partner, has received $17 million in acquisition financing to purchase Forest Creek Apartments in Portland. The 160-unit community is located at 1940 NW Miller Road. Financing was arranged by John M. Stewart and Ilan Reissner of NorthMarq Capital’s Denver office.
