Jim Parker of Colliers International's Tampa Bay, Fla., office represented the tenant in the lease transaction, and Mike Talmadge of Echelon Real Estate Services represented the landlord, Pointe 16th. eMason plans to move into the space in July.

LOCKPORT, ILL. — Bridge Development Partners has acquired 50 acres of land for the development of a new business park in Lockport. The site is midway between 1-55 and 1-80 and includes frontage along 1-355. The space can accommodate up to 1 million square feet of light industrial and distribution space. Bridge plans to break ground on a speculative building in 2013. The land is fully zoned and entitled.

CHICAGO — Sunstone Hotel Investors has agreed to buy a fee-simple interest in the 357-room Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile for $91.7 million, or $257,000 per room. The hotel is one block from the city's “Magnificent Mile” and each guest room provides views of downtown Chicago. The property also features 5,700 square feet of combined meeting space. The lodging real-estate investment trust has interest in about 30 hotels.

MAPLE GROVE, MINN. — TMI Hospitality has purchased Cambria Suites hotel in Maple Grove out of foreclosure for a reported $7.1 million. The 129-room Cambria Suites features a large lobby and all-suite rooms that include a separate living, working and sleeping space. TMI Hospitality, based in Fargo, N.D., has an existing portfolio of eight hotels in the greater Minneapolis marketplace.

SHARONVILLE, OHIO — Cinelect Inc. has acquired Crowne Point, a 25,600-square-foot office building in Sharonville, for $1.67 million. The property was in receivership at the time of sale. Brian Graham of Cincinnati Investment Services served as advisor the seller and lender in the transaction, Wells Fargo. The building at 200 Crowne Point Dr. is situated on 2.5 acres.

NEW YORK CITY — The New York City Department of Law has renewed its lease for 372,520 square feet of office space at 100 Church Street, the 1.05 million-square-foot building in Manhattan. The city's lease, which was set to expire in October 2013, will commence in November 2013 covering floors 2-6 and a portion of the building's concourse level. Additionally, building owner SL Green recently refinanced the property with a $230 million, 10-year loan bearing an interest rate of 4.6 percent. Wells Fargo Bank provided the financing, which the company says will be be used for general corporate purposes. Michael Geoghegan and John Morrill of CBRE represented the City of New York in the transaction. Peter Strauss and Christopher Smith of Shearman & Sterling represented SL Green.

NEW YORK CITY — 5 East 51st St. LLC has purchased a six-story mixed-use building, located across from New York City's St. Patrick's Cathedral on Fifth Ave., for $12.6 million. The 14,000-square-foot property includes 14 apartment units and 5,000 square feet of retail space. The sale also includes 21,000 square feet of air rights. Peter Carillo of Eastern Consolidated represented the seller in the transaction. He also produced the buyer.

NEW YORK CITY — City National Bank (CNB) has signed a 15-year lease for 45,000 square feet of retail and office space at 400 Park Ave. The property has served as the company’s New York headquarters since 2002, and CNB previously occupied 15,000 square feet. The building will house a new 5,400-square-foot, street-level banking center as well as expanded office space on the upper floors. Lynn Williams, Dale Schlather and Jeff Welch of Cushman & Wakefield represented CNB in the transaction. The building owner, Waterman Interests, was represented in-house.
