POMPANO BEACH, FLA. — Cavache Holdings has acquired an 11,648-square-foot warehouse, located at 280 N.W. 12 Ave. in Pompano Beach, from Ray Anthony International for $1.1 million. Keith Kidwell of Sperry Van Ness' Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office represented the seller in the transaction, and Helen Weisman of Brenner Real Estate Group represented the buyer.

ORLAND PARK, ILL. — Indianapolis developer Flaherty & Collins has broken ground on a 295-unit apartment complex in Orland Park, which is slated for completion in the spring of 2013. The project is part of a multi-phase Main Street triangle development, which will include retail and residential properties. The Village of Orland Park owns the 32-acre parcel, which is bound by La Grange Road on the east, 143rd Street on the south and the Metra Southwest Line on the west. The Village Board of Orland Park recently selected Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate as its development consultant for the project.

AURORA, ILL. — Liberty Property Trust has completed two significant lease transactions, bringing the Liberty Business Center in Aurora to full occupancy. International Paper/xpedx has signed a lease for 316,000 square feet. The company will relocate from its facility in Glendale Heights to the new space this summer, when a fit-out is complete. George Pappas of Hartford Associates represented the tenant in the transactions. In addition, Rockpoint Logistics has added 72,269 square feet to its lease, bringing its total space to 291,552 square feet. David Friedland of Newmark Knight Frank/Epic represented the tenant in the deal. Jim Estes, Jeff Kapcheck and Mark Bell of Colliers International represented Liberty in both transactions.

NORTHFIELD, ILL. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $1.7 million sale of Northpointe II Office Center in Northfield. Built 1996, the office center is located off the Edens Expressway at 465 Central Rd. and is fully leased. Frank Roti of Marcus & Millichap's Chicago office represented the seller. Charlie Pick of National Realty Network represented the buyer.

NEW YORK CITY — A joint venture between Waterbridge Capital and RedSky Capital has acquired a 110,000-square-foot parcel in Williamsburg for $66 million. Gabe Saffioti and Benjamin Trapper of Eastern Consolidated introduced the two firms for the purpose of arranging the joint venture The Bedford Avenue parcels are situated across the street from a new Whole Foods and include 237-241 Bedford Ave.; 158-160 N. Fourth St.; and 151-173 N. Third St. Combined, they comprise 50,000 square feet of retail space, 39 residential units and a 5,000-square-foot vacant lot. The new owners plan to redevelop and improve the retail spaces.

NEW YORK CITY — Random House Inc. has signed a 361,044-square-foot lease renewal at 1745 Broadway in New York City, extending its occupancy at the property through mid-2023. The print and trade book publisher occupies floors 2-13 for its corporate headquarters. Richard Bernstein of Cassidy Turley represented Random House in the transaction. The landlord, SL Green, was represented in-house.

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Healthy Food Brands has purchased a 172,000-square-foot industrial building at 122 Quentin Ave. in New Brunswick for $3.2 million. The company is moving from Commack, N.Y. and plans to create more than 250 jobs. Healthy Foods is a marketer of “better for you” confections and chocolate products. Doug Richter and Ian Grusd of Sperry Van Ness / Richter Grusd represented the seller, 122 Quentin LLC, in the transaction. Ed Horne and Marty Kreiman of HK Commercial Realty Advisors represented the buyer.

NEW YORK CITY — Bogart Plaza has purchased a 46,000-square-foot parcel at 79 Bogart St. in Brooklyn for $4.3 million. 79 Bogart St. is one of the last large, vacant spaces in the mixed-use area of Brooklyn. Joel Kohn and Avrum Lieber of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates represented the seller, BBM LLC, in the transaction. Jacques Wadler, also of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, represented the buyer.
