NEW YORK CITY — New York-based Vantage Properties has sold the 7-building Broadway West portfolio in the Hamilton Heights and Washington Heights sections of Manhattan for $62 million. The portfolio includes 361 residential units and 28 commercial units for a total of 434,605 square feet. The properties consist of 3421 Broadway; 610 W. 157th St.; 3851 Broadway; 559 W. 164th St.; 4141 Broadway; 4151 Broadway and 4180 Broadway. Robert Knakal and Robert Shapiro represented Vantage in the transaction. They also represented the buyer, a private family.

NEW YORK CITY — The Pearl Theatre Co., an off-Broadway company, has signed a 20-year lease for space on the north side of West 42nd Street, between 10th and 11th avenues in New York City. The tenant will take possession of the 160-seat theater this July, which was formerly occupied by Signature Theatre company. Matthew Gorman and Joshua Gettler of New Street Realty Advisors represented the owner, Massachusetts Mutual Life, in the transaction. Stephen Powers of Denham Wolf represented the tenant.
ODESSA — The 68-acre Parks Legado Town Center, an approximately 300,000-square-foot, mixed-use center under construction along State Highway 191 in Odessa, will add a 120-room Residence Inn by Marriott and a branch of Aim Bank. The Sewell Family of Cos. will finish the first phase of the development in the fall, which will include shops, restaurants, offices, hotels and new car dealerships. Dallas-based Don Epperson is developing the property. Dallas-based Western International is developing the Residence Inn and Texas Western Hospitality will manage the hotel, which is slated to open in spring 2013. Levelland-based AIMBancshares owns the new branch of Aim Bank, which will feature five drive-thru lanes.
PLANO — Cadence McShane Construction Co. has completed renovations and a new addition for the 44,375-square-foot Plano Senior High School, located at 2200 Independence Parkway in Plano, on behalf of the Plano Independent School District. The renovations include reconstructing four physics laboratories, four chemistry laboratories and a preparatory room following the demolition of eight classrooms. Cadence also completed a 20,885-square-foot performing arts building and a pedestrian bridge to connect the new building with the existing school. Additionally, Cadence completed a 12,305-square-foot addition and renovations for the fine arts building and a 2,000-square-foot addition to the athletics building. WRA Architects provided architectural services for the project.
SAN ANTONIO — Hendricks & Partners has brokered the sale of the 260-unit The Cordoba, located at 7810 Callaghan Rd. in San Antonio. Will Caruth, Chris Ross and Mike Miller of Hendricks & Partners' San Antonio office represented the seller, West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Blue Valley Apartments, in the transaction. The buyer was a Texas-based investor.
BRADY — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of a 10,000-square-foot O'Reilly Auto Parts Retail Center, a two-tenant property located at 2039 S. Bridge St. in Brady. Greg Gaynor and Kelly Smith of Marcus & Millichap's Austin office represented the seller, a developer, and procured the buyer, a private investor, in the transaction.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. — The 25-unit Villa Sarah apartment community in West Hollywood has sold to DSPG Management for $4.15 million. The community was built in 1950 and is located at 1280 N. Laurel Ave. The seller, General Western Monticello Company, was represented by David J. Harrington of Hendricks & Partners’ North Los Angeles office.
VERNON, CALIF. — Mola has signed a five-year lease for a 129,544-square-foot industrial building in Vernon. The building is located at 2957 E. 46th Street and includes 25,000 square feet of office space. Mola was represented by Doug Cline of Lee & Associates. The landlord, Karney Management, was represented by Paul Sablock ofJones Lang LaSalle and Greg Stanton of CBRE.
NORTHRIDGE, CALIF. – Both the Yard House and Elephant Bar have signed on at the Northridge Fashion Center. The Yard House will lease more than 10,000 square feet, while Elephant Bar will occupy 6,700 square feet. Both are scheduled to open in late fall 2012.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The 236,054-square-foot 801 9th Street NW, located in Washington, D.C., has sold for $147.5 million. The eight-story property is fully leased on a triple-net basis to the United States Mint through September 2019.
