EASTPOINTE, MICH. — Totally U Boutique, a fashion retailer, has signed a 1,556-square-foot lease in East Brooke Commons at 9 Mile Rd. in Eastpointe. Mid-America Real Estate-Michigan represented the landlord, East Brooke Commons Limited Partnership, in the transaction.
BOSTON — A former Radisson hotel and adjoining playhouse in Boston's theater district will be reborn this spring as the Revere Hotel. The 365-room hotel will include more than 35,000 square feet of meeting space and the Emerald Lounge, an entertainment venue. The hotel is owned by Northwood Hospitality and will feature interiors designed by an in-house design team and BBGM Interiors. The hotel is slated to open this April.
STRATFORD, CONN. — Urstadt Biddle Properties has received $28 million in mortgage financing for the company's 271,000-square-foot shopping center in Stratford. The Dock Shopping Center is anchored by a 60,000-square-foot Super Stop and Shop. ING Life Insurance and Annuity Co. provided the 10-year loan, which has a 30-year amortization schedule.
WEST CHESTER, PA. — Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has completed the $3.5 million sale of Northwyn Court Apartments, a 32-unit apartment property in West Chester. Northwyn is located at 803 E. Boot Rd. and includes one- and two-bedroom apartments. Mark Thomson and Zachary Pierce of Marcus & Millichap's Philadelphia office represented the buyer in the transaction.
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. — The Nassau Industrial Development Agency has approved an economic development compact that will allow The NPD Group to undertake an $8 million renovation of its Port Washington headquarters. The 117,000-square-foot headquarters is located at 900 W. Shore Rd. NPD plans to expand the company's information technology center and develop a new entrance. The project is expected to be complete by September 2013.
DALLAS — Dallas-based KDC and Orlando, Fla.-based Estein & Associates USA have plans to develop a 400,000-square-foot, Class A office tower, located at the 75-acre Victory Park, a mixed-use center, in downtown Dallas. The 23-story property will feature eight floors of office space, 15 stories of parking, an upscale restaurant, a delicatessen and a fitness center. BOKA Powell will provide architectural services and design the property to achieve LEED certification. The office tower is slated for a late 2014 completion.
HOUSTON — Houston-based Highland Resources, Inc., has purchased the 100,875-square-foot 510 Bering, a six-story office tower located in Houston's San Felipe/Voss submarket. Highland was self-represented by Welden Johnston in the off-market transaction. David Schwarz and Tip Strickland of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital's Houston office represented the seller.
HOUSTON — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $3 million sale of the 76-room Interstate Motor Lodge Houston, a hotel located at 13213 Interstate 10 E in Houston. Michael Yu, Rahul Bijlani and Eric Guerrero of Marcus & Millichap's Houston office represented the seller and procured the buyer in the transaction.
FARMERS BRANCH — Copart has plans to move its corporate headquarters from California to 53,126 square feet of office space in Centura Tower One, an office building located on the corner of Spring Valley and Dallas North Tollway in Farmers Branch. Dallas-based Minerva Real Estate represented the tenant in the lease transaction.
HOUSTON — Houston-based ICO Commercial has arranged a 33,260-square-foot lease of showroom and warehouse space, located at 9503 and 9505 Harwin Dr. in Houston. Los Angeles-based Discount King leased the property from the undisclosed landlord. Larry Indermuehle and Jane Holloway represented the landlord in the lease transaction.
