MILWAUKEE — Inland Construction was selected to renovate the lobby of the 60,000-square-foot Blatz Wash House office building, located at 1101 N. Market St. in Milwaukee. Inland will also covert the lower level space into underground parking. The projects total 19,760 square feet and are slated for completion in January 2012.

PITTSBURGH — Developers McCaffrey Interests and Pitt Ohio have broken ground on Lot 24, a 96-unit apartment residence in Pittsburgh. The four-story residential building was designed by Chicago-based Antunovich Associates and will be positioned on a former surface parking lot. Amenities will include a clubroom, a terrace with pool, and bicycle storage. Massaro Corp. is the general contractor for the project and Susan Caruso of IntraSpec Hospitality designed the interiors. The project is slated for completion in the fall of 2012.

ERIE, PA. — Cary, N.C.-based Lord Corp. has purchased a 1 million-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility, located at 2455 Robinson Rd. W. in Erie, for $19 million. Lord Corp., a technology company that designs and manufactures devices to manage mechanical motion and control noise, plans to consolidate its Erie operations into the new facility. Jim Panczykowski of Binswanger's New Haven office represented the seller, Bush Industries, in the transaction.

ABINGTON, PA. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $1.95 million sale of Edgehill Apartments, a 32-unit apartment property in Abington. Clarke Talone, Andrew Townsend, Ridge MacLaren of the Philadephia office of Marcus & Milichap represented the seller, a local partnership. They also secured the buyer, a local management company.

BANGOR, PA. — The former Majestic Athletics apparel manufacturing building, located at 100 Majestic Way in Bangor, has sold for $1.5 million. BioSpectra, a biotech company, purchased the 142,000-square-foot facility to expand its operations. Joseph Baxter and Brian Coyne of Stroudsburg, Pa.- based Michael Baxter & Associates represented the owner in the deal. Daniel Perich and Ray Starner of Michael Baxter represented the buyer.

BEVERLY, MASS. — Woburn, Mass.-based Cummings Properties has purchased a 103,000-square-foot office building in Beverly for $2.3 million. The four-story building was built in the 1980s as the headquarters for Parker Brothers Co. Peter Richardson of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the seller, Wight & Co., in the transaction. Cummings Properties was self-represented.

DALLAS — Atlanta-based Cousins Properties has sold the 748,831-square-foot Lakeside Ranch Building 20 and two land parcels, located in the Lakeside Ranch Business Park in Dallas. Cousins also sold a development site in Lancaster. The land and industrial building are part of a $72.2 million deal that includes the sale of King Mill Building 3 in Atlanta. Jack Fraker of CBRE's Dallas office and Chris Riley, Frank Fallon and Brian Budnick of the firm's Atlanta office represented the seller in the transaction and the buyer was self-represented.

HOUSTON — NorthMarq Capital has secured permanent acquisition financing for the 390-unit Bristol Place Apartments, a multifamily community located at 11245 W. Rd. in Houston. Greg Duvall of NorthMarq's Kansas City, Kan., office arranged the 10-year loan with a 30-year amortization schedule through AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance on behalf of the borrower, Bristol Place Apartments LP. AmeriSphere is a Fannie Mae DUS lender.

DALLAS — Plano-based Priority Fulfillment Services has leased 78,060 square feet of office space at Renaissance Tower, located at 1201 Elm St. in downtown Dallas, from Binyan Realty. Dennis Barnes, Celeste Fowden and Clay Gilbert of CBRE's Dallas office represented the landlord in the lease transaction. Rick Hughes of Cushman & Wakefield's Dallas office represented the tenant.

HOUSTON — Fallas Discount Stores will open a new 22,000-square-foot store at Steeplechase Shopping Center, located at the northwest corner of FM 1960 and Jones Road. The store will be Fallas' 25th location in the greater Houston area. Shawn Ackerman of the Henry S. Miller Brokerage's Houston office represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Jason Du of the firm's Houston office represented the landlord, Jones 1960 Crossroads. Steeplechase is currently 90 percent leased to tenants such as Citi-Trends, Palais Royal, 99 Cent Only, Dollar Tree and Anna's Linens.
