Jonathan Richards of CBRE's Naples, Fla., office and Thomas Fischer of CBRE's Columbus, Ohio, office represented Edisto Group, the seller, in the transaction. The buyer was Pacifica Cos.
PENSACOLA, FLA. — Plaza Advisors has arranged the sale of the 333,654-square-foot Gulf Breeze Marketplace, located at the intersection of U.S. 98 and County Road 281 in Pensacola. Walmart Supercenter and Lowe's Home Improvement shadow anchor the center. Jim Michalak and Lenard Williams of Plaza Advisor's Tampa, Fla., office, with Anthony Blanco of the firm's Miami office, represented DDR Corp., the seller, in the transaction. The buyer was a private equity group.
BOSTON HEIGHTS, OHIO —Gladstone Commercial Corp. has purchased a 25,000-square-foot office building in Boston Heights, Ohio for approximately $4.7 million. The property was a new build-to-suit for Paychex North America, a subsidiary of Paychex Inc. The tenant leased the property for 10 years and has three options to renew the lease for additional periods of three years each. Buzz Cooper of Gladstone Commerical Group represented Gladstone in the transaction.
ST. LOUIS — The Peabody Opera House, located at 1400 Market St. in St. Louis, was recently reopened after undergoing a $78 million restoration that began in July 2010. Updates to the 77-year-old building included adding quiet air conditioning, modern fire protection and washroom facilities. The developers include Sports Capital Holdings-St. Louis; Optimus Development; and St. Louis-based Paric Corp., in partnership with KAI Design & Build.
GERMANTOWN, WIS. — KitPackers LLC, an adhesive company, has leased 4,881 square feet of industrial space at the Alpine Business Center on Maple Road in Germantown, Wis. Ryan Kopp and Steve Stewart of Milwaukee-based Inland Cos. brokered the deal.
WEST CALDWELL, N.J. — New Jersey-based Plumbers Local 24 has purchased a 22,000-square-foot industrial building, located at 20 Fairfield Place in West Caldwell, N.J. Bonni Heller of Cushman & Wakefield's East Rutherford, N.J. office represented the buyer. The seller, 20 Fairfield Place Associates LLC, was represented by Stephen Sander of CB Richard Ellis. Plumbers Local 24 will relocate its administrative and training facilities to the new site.
BOSTON— Boston Realty Advisors has arranged the $3.7 million sale of a nine-unit brownstone building, located at 300 Marlborough St. in Boston. Christopher Sower and Jason Weissman of Boston Realty Advisors represented the seller, Marlborough Street Realty Trust. The buyer was undisclosed.
CEDAR PARK — Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust has acquired the 486,896-square-foot 1890 Ranch, a shopping center located at 183-A Toll Road and East Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park, for $97.6 million. The shopping center includes tenants such as PetSmart, Academy Sports, Cinemark and Ross Dress for Less.
SAN ANTONIO — Stockholm, Sweden-based Skanska USA has signed an $80 million contract to construct Phase II of Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. The project includes a 27,700-square-foot addition for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Skanska is expected to begin construction in November and completion is slated for September 2013.
AUSTIN — Houston-based GSL Welcome Group has acquired the 54,865-square-foot Tuscany Technology Center Building 4, an office/flex facility located in the Tuscany Center at Walnut Creek at U.S. 290 and Tuscany Way in Austin. The building is leased to Gila Corp. Timothy Heinrich and Blake Royal of Houston-based BoyarMiller's Business Group represented the buyer. The seller was McShane Development Co.
