Stiles Realty Signs Starbucks, Chipotle to Leases at Retail Center in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, FLA. — Stiles Realty has signed Starbucks Coffee and Chipotle Mexican Grill to lease outparcel space at Coralwood Center, a 349,205-square-foot retail center located at 2301 S. Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral. The two tenants will open at the 6,038-square-foot outparcel this fall. The retail center is currently 73 percent leased to tenants such as Ulta Beauty, LA Fitness, Bealls Outlet, JC Penney, Lenny’s Sub Shop and the newly opened HomeGoods. Jill Gull of Stiles Realty represented the landlord, Siles and GRE Coralwood LP, in the two lease transactions. Michael Daly of LandQwest Commercial represented Starbucks, and Michael Weiss of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Chipotle.

Newmark Grubb Pearson Commercial Brokers 2,760 SF Lease in Madera

MADERA, CALIF. — Newmark Grubb Pearson Commercial has arranged the lease of 2,760 square feet of retail space at 1460 E. Yosemite Ave. in Madera. Mountain Mike’s Pizza Restaurant has inked a deal with Q/S Tozer Avenue LLC to occupy the space. Craig Holdener and Troy McKenney of Newmark Grubb Pearson Commercial and Jeanette Woerman Mason of Brekke Real Estate negotiated the transaction.

AutoZone Leases 7,000 SF for New Location in Gardena

GARDENA, CALIF. — AutoZone, an auto parts retailer, has signed a 10-year lease for 7,000 square feet of end-cap retail space on Crenshaw Boulevard in Gardena. The location is located within a 26,000-square-foot community shopping center. Geoff Grossman and Aaron Guido of Centers Business Management represented the undisclosed landlord in the transaction.

M&M Arranges Sale of 8,228 SF Retail Property in Metro Dallas

GARLAND, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Broadway Plaza, an 8,228-square-foot retail property located in Garland. Philip Levy of Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Worth office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a developer. Broadway Plaza is located at 6226 Broadway Blvd. The center is 83 percent leased, and all current leases are triple net. Tenants include T-Mobile, Dallas Gold & Silver, Sprint and AT&T. The building was constructed in 2011 and sits on 1.1 acres.

Equicap Secures $55M Loan for 80,000 SF Commercial Property in Manhattan

NEW YORK CITY — Equicap has arranged a $55 million permanent mortgage for a commercial property located in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district. The non-recourse five-year loan features a 2.63 percent fixed interest rate and is full-term interest-only. Developed in 2008, the 80,000-square-foot property is occupied by Arhaus, a furniture retailer, and a California-based tech company. Ricky Aryeh of Equicap originated the loan for the undisclosed borrower.

Cronheim Mortgage Arranges Two Loans Totaling $9.5M for Retail Properties in Connecticut, New York

NEW BRITAIN, CONN., AND POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Cronheim Mortgage has arranged two loans totaling $9.5 million for two retail properties in New Britain and Poughkeepsie. Andrew Stewart and Dev Morris of Cronheim secured both 10-year loans, which feature a 4.22 percent fixed rate and 25-year amortization schedule. The loans were placed with Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Co. In New Britain, an undisclosed borrower received $3.5 million in financing for Brittany West Plaza, a 39,438-square-foot retail property. The property is currently 100 percent leased to a variety of national and regional tenants, including Subway, TD Bank, Hair Cuttery, Gloria’s Nails and Arthur Murray Dance Studio. In Poughkeepsie, an undisclosed borrower received $6 million in financing for Poughkeepsie Plaza, a 170,966-square-foot community shopping center. Originally constructed in 1958, the property was partially enclosed in 1978, with various additions from 1983 to 2004.

Kroger to Invest $180M in Michigan With Three New Marketplace Stores, Plus Six Fuel Centers

NOVI, MICH. — Novi-based The Kroger Co. of Michigan will invest $180 million in Michigan’s grocery sector during 2016 by adding three Kroger Marketplaces stores and six new fuel centers. The grocer will also increase its ClickList online shopping service to 22 locations and remodel 11 existing stores. The new stores will be located at 12 Mile Road and Stephenson Highway in Royal Oak, M-59 and Elizabeth Lake Road in White Lake Township and at 26 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue in Shelby Township. The Kroger Co. of Michigan includes 129 Kroger stores, 69 fuel centers and 103 pharmacies. Kroger Marketplace stores average 110,000 square feet and are multi-department stores that offer full-service grocery, pharmacy, outdoor living products, electronics, home goods and toys.

The Missner Group to Complete Build-Out for McGrath Acura in Chicago Suburb

WESTMONT, ILL. — The Missner Group will complete a large-scale renovation for McGrath Acura in Westmont, approximately 23 miles west of Chicago. Construction will include the addition of a 9,100-square-foot showroom with glass-enclosed offices, see-through fireplaces and coffered ceilings. The Missner Group will also remodel the delivery area and 4,000-square-foot service space. Services will also include updating the building exterior, parking lot and landscaping. Defilippis + Associates Inc. is the architect of record. Construction is slated for completion this summer.
