TEJON RANCH, CALIF. — Tejon Ranch Company and The Rockefeller Group have partnered to develop The Outlets at Tejon Ranch. The outlet center will be located where Interstate 5 and Highway 99 meet, just south of Bakersfield. The site’s infrastructure work has already commenced. The outlet center is scheduled to open in spring 2014. EWB Development is handling the new project’s leasing.

MILWAUKEE — Leopardo-Wisconsin has started construction on the new Tazinos Pizza and Salad Bistro in Milwaukee. Located on the first floor of the City Center at 735 N. Water St., the 4,000-square-foot restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating that can serve 173 patrons. Construction is scheduled for completion in October. The new location is the initial phase of Tazino's multi-phase expansion plans. The company currently owns and operates restaurants in Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek and Pleasant Prairie, Wis.
FORT WAYNE, IND. — Halloween Express has signed a lease for 12,650 square feet of retail space in Georgtown Square, located at 6404 E. State Blvd. in Fort Wayne. Al Stovall of NAI Harding Dahm represented the landlord, Georgetown Members LLC, in the transaction. Russ Jehl, also of NAI Harding Dahm, represented the tenant.
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – East Thunderbird Square South, a 161,997-square-foot, grocery-anchored shopping center in Scottsdale, has sold to Holualoa Companies for $20.55 million. The square was 64 percent leased at the time of sale. Notable tenants include Smart & Final, AZ Air Time, Bridgestone Tires, Leslie’s Poolmart and Steinway Piano Showroom. The three outparcels that house M&I Bank, Burger King and Taco Bell were not part of the sale. Glenn Smigiel, Bob Young, Steven Brabant, Rick Abraham, Nancy Romanovsky, Kevin Schuck and Max Bippus of CBRE’s Phoenix office represented the seller, Gregg Williams of Trident Pacific Real Estate, the court-appointed receiver for the asset, in this transaction.
FORT WORTH — Chef Jon Bonnell of Bonnell's Fine Texas Cuisine will open Waters, Bonnell's Fine Coastal Cuisine, a 7,775-square-foot upscale restaurant, in the West 7th mixed-use development in Fort Worth. The property will be located at 2901 Crockett St., and the opening is slated for February 2013. Rodger Chieffalo of Chiefallo Realty, along with Frank Bullock and Carey Shagets of SRS Real Estate Partners, represented the landlord, Cypress Equities, in the lease transaction. Attorney Jack Larson represented the tenant.
CHICAGO — Retailers Salvatore Ferragamo and Ermenegildo Zegna have expanded and renewed leases at 645 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago. Salvatore Ferragamo, which sells luxury handbags, shoes and small leather goods, renewed its ground-level lease for 2,700 square feet and expanded to the second floor, taking 3,300 square feet. Italian men's wear giant Ermenegildo Zegna renewed its ground-level lease for 2,400 square feet and also expanded to the second floor, taking 2,900 square feet. 645 North Michigan LLC and Nakash 645 North Michigan LLC own the property, which is managed by The Feil Organization. Robert Gibson of Cushman & Wakefield represented Salvatore Ferragamo in the transaction. Joan Siegel of Siegel Consultants represented Ermenegildo Zegna. The Feil Organization was represented in-house by Brian Feil and Ken Hanson.
AUBURN, MASS. — The new 56,295-square-foot Lundgren Honda dealearship at 145-163 Washington St. in Auburn has opened. The facility features a showroom, service department with 22 bays, an automotic car wash and four quick-lube service bays. The building also includes a business center with free Wi-Fi, a cafe and children's play center. BKA Architects designed the project and Construction Management & Builders served as the general contractor.
CRANSTON, R.I. — LA Fitness has chosen Garden City Center as its first Rhode Island location. The sports club will be next to OfficeMax in a two-story, 38,000-square-foot facility that will be designed to resemble a hotel inside. The LA Fitness outlet will replace a closed Borders bookstore at the center, which will be demolished. Construction will begin in January 2013 and the club is expected to open in December 2013 or early 2014. The LA Fitness location will be the second phase of a multimillion dollar expansion and renovation of the shopping center, which Wilder Cos. launched in the spring. Phase I includes a new 20,000-square-foot building linking the center's two sections.
COLUMBIA, MD. — The 4,722-square-foot Shoppes at Dobbin Center, a three-tenant retail building located in Columbia, has sold for $3.45 million. The property is leased to Starbucks, Radio Shack and Spa #1 Nails. Andrew Fallon of Calkain Cos. represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer was a Washington, D.C.-based investor.
BARNEGAT, N.J. — R&R Barnegat has acquired a 6,124-square-foot, single-tenant property at 860 W. Bay Ave. in Barnegat for $2.3 million. The property is occupied by Advance Auto, which has 15 years remaining on its lease. Bob Horvath and Todd Tremblay of Marcus & Millichap procured the buyer in the transaction. Richard Geisenfeld of Capital Commercial Partners represented the seller, Primax Properties LLC.
