SAN DIEGO — All In The Family II, L.P. has leased 6,598 square feet in Carmel Mountain Plaza in San Diego where it plans to open a Broken Yolk Café. It will occupy a former Chevy’s Mexican restaurant space. The 10-year lease is valued at $2,744,868. The center is located at 11630 Carmel Mountain Road. All In The Family was represented by Mike Spilky of Location Matters. The landlord, the Mashburn Family Limited Partnership, was represented by Steve Avoyer and Matt Peckham of Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate.

BOSSIER CITY, LA. — Rouse Properties has commenced a multi-million dollar renovation of the more than 600,000-square-foot Pierre Bossier Mall, located at 2950 E. Texas St. in Bossier. The renovation will include a new porcelain tile floor throughout the common areas and food court, as well as new paint for all walls, columns and ceilings. Rouse will also add soft seating areas with new furniture and carpeting in key gathering areas, upgraded mall entrances and upgrading of the center’s pylon and exterior directional signage. Dillard’s, JC Penney and Sears anchor the center, which is home to more than 70 specialty stores including American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret and Buckle. Rouse expects to complete renovations in time for the 2012 holiday season.
MARION, OHIO – The 426,905-square-foot Marion Towne Centre was sold to a private investment group for an undisclosed amount. Ben Wineman of Mid-America Real Estate and Select Strategies Realty’s Mike Paolucci and Hunter Whitten represented the seller, a lender, in the transaction. The buyer was self-represented. The single-story, enclosed regional mall is located 50 miles north of Columbus.
NEW YORK CITY — Mackenzie-Childs has signed a long-term lease for 7,700 square feet of retail space in the Plaza District. The home furnishings, tableware and gift company will relocate from its existing location at 14 W. 57th St. to 20 W. 57th St., between Fifth and Sixth avenues. Mackenzie-Childs plans to reopen by the fourth quarter of 2012. Robert Futterman and Brandon Eisenman of RKF represented the landlord, Solow Realty & Development Co., in the transaction. LEVITTOWN, N.Y. — Dots, the women's fashion apparel and accessories retailer, has signed a lease for 4,000 square feet at Crescent Plaza Shopping Center, located at 3507-3567 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. The store, the chain's ninth in Long Island, opened June 14. Jayson Siano of Sabre Real Estate Group represented Dots in the transaction. The landlord, Feil Organization, was represented in-house by Randy Briskin.
DALLAS — Dallas-based 7-Eleven has acquired 23 convenience stores across Texas from Strasburger Enterprises. The stores are primarily under the Quix brand name, and 7-Eleven will have the stores rebranded by the end of the year. This acquisition brings the total number of Texas 7-Eleven locations to 570.
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Sonora Village in Scottsdale has received a $33.65-million acquisition loan. The loan on the 248,322-square-foot community shopping centerfeatures a 10-year term, two years of interest-only and a 30-year amortization schedule. It was arranged for the buyer by NorthMarq via its relationship with a CMBS lender.
STUART, FLA. — Kite Reality Group has acquired the 160,000-square-foot Cove Center, an unencumbered shopping center in Stuart, for $22.1 million. Cove Center is 97 percent leased and is anchored by Publix Supermarket and Beall’s Department Store.
SCHERTZ — Marcus & Millichap has sold the 4,921-square-foot Christian Brothers Automotive, a car dealership located at 205 FM 3009 in Schertz. Jason Vitorino of Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office represented the seller. The buyer was an out-of-state investor.
EL CAJON, CALIF. — A 43,480-square-foot retail building in El Cajon has sold to Securities Real Estate Fund 2012, LLC for $5.95 million. The property is located at 1571-1641 Magnolia Ave. The buyer was represented by Eileen Schuler of Schuler Commercial Real Estate. The seller, CCMS 2005-CD1 El Cajon Retail, LP, was represented by Joe Yetter, Mike Clark and Brent Williams of Cassidy Turley San Diego.
