DORAVILLE, GA. — Burlington Coat Factory has signed a lease with Halpern Enterprises to occupy 85,000 square feet at the 200,000-square-foot Doraville Plaza Shopping Center, located at 5766 Buford Hwy. in Doraville. Gail Faragason of The Shopping Center Group's Atlanta office represented the tenant in the transaction and the landlord was self-represented by John Brozovic of Halpern Enterprises.

AUSTIN and ROUND ROCK — Retail Solutions, the brokerage division of Reliance Retail, has facilitated the following transactions: World Class Capital Group has purchased the former Katz’s Deli building at 618 W. 6th St. in Austin. Matt Delahoussaye of Retail Solutions represented the seller. Tan It All has signed a lease renewal for 2,288 square feet at Hester’s Crossing at 2400 S. 135 in Round Rock. Cole Brodhead of Retail Solutions represented the landlord. City Blends has also signed a lease renewal at Hester’s Crossing for 1,799 square feet. Brodhead represented the landlord. Allstate Insurance has leased 927 square feet of office space in Cannon West at 6800 Westgate Blvd. in Austin. T.J. Powell of Retail Solutions represented the landlord and Adam Fike of Southwest Strategies Group represented the tenant.

SUFFOLK, VA. — Best Brakes has leased 42,500 square feet of distribution space at 5401 Virginia Regional Dr. in Suffolk. Stephanie Sanker and Bill Overman of Norfolk, Va.-based S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, Virginia Regional I, was represented by Worth Remick of CB Richard Ellis' Norfolk office.

ORLAND PARK, ILL. — Chicago-based Essex Realty Group has brokered the $1.05 million sale of Main Street Village Shopping Center, located at 16065-93 S. LaGrange Rd. in Orland Park. The property consists of a single building with six retail spaces. David Schwartz, Jason Fishleder, Doug Imber and Matt Welke of Essex represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.

NORTHBROOK, ILL. — Summit Design + Build has been chosen to gut and renovate a former auto repair shop into the 12,000-square-foot Park Place, a retail center located at 1347 Shermer Rd. in Northbrook. The Equitable Group is the owner and developer for the project and SAS Architects and Planners is providing architectural services. Construction will include all new site utilities, MEP's, roofing, glazing and a complete rehab of the exterior masonry and landscaping, and is slated for completion in the fall of 2011. Caribou Coffee and Sherwin Williams have already signed leases to join the center.

NORTHBROOK, ILL. — Westwood Financial Corp. has purchased the 136,219-square-foot Sanders Court Shopping Center, located at 4109-4195 Dundee Rd. in Northbrook, from Sandee, LLC, for $22 million. Dominick's anchors the center, which is 99 percent leased to Goodwill, USA Vein Clinics, Fitness 19, Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Butterfield's, Century 21, Sally Beauty, State Farm Insurance, United Self Defense and Subway. Joe Girardi of Mid-America Real Estate Corp. represented the seller.

OKLAHOMA CITY — CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. and Horizon Group Properties Inc. have announced The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City will open on Friday. The center is fully leased with 83 stores and is located at the intersection of Interstate 40 and Council Road. The center is the only outlet center in Oklahoma and features a food court, play area for children, center stage with fountains and an additional parcel of land that can house 60,000 square feet of retail space. The center’s tenants include Nike, Banana Republic, J. Crew and Levi’s.
