WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH — TRI Commercial/CORFAC International has brokered the sale of an IHOP restaurant located at 3383 Decker Lake Drive in West Valley City. Listed for more than $2.32 million, the property encompasses approximately 4,114 square feet and 63 parking spaces. TRI Commercial/CORFAC International’s Robert King represented the seller, WB Equities, in the transaction, and Commerce Real Estate Solutions’s Mary Street represented the buyer. The tenant has more than 17 years remaining on the primary lease term.

NEW YORK CITY — Target and Marshalls are the two newest tenants to open their foors at Sky View Center, an 800,000-square-foot shopping center located in Flushing, Queens. Target is occupying 180,000 square feet in the center, and Marshalls is leasing 37,000 square feet. The retailers will join a tenant roster that includes BJ's Wholesale Club, Best Buy and Bob's Discount Furniture. Other tenants opening this year include Bed Bath & Beyond, Payless, Old Navy, Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar and Chuck E. Cheese's. Onex Real Estate Partners is the project's owner and developer. Sky View Center is part of the Sky View Park mixed-use development, which also includes six residential condominium towers.

MIAMI — Palm Beach, Fla.-based Sterling Organization has secured a $52.5 million loan extension for Mall of the Americas, a 790,000-square-foot shopping center in Miami. The loan was arranged through the borrower's lender, Allstate. Located on West Flagler Street, the mall is occupied by Home Depot, Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less, AMC Theaters, CompUSA, Tiger Direct and Old Navy. Al Rex of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital facilitated the transaction.

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Carlo's Bakery, whose owner Buddy Valastro stars on TLC's show “Cake Boss,” has signed a lease for 30,000 square feet within the Lackawanna Center mixed-use project in Jersey City. The space, which is situated within the 200,000-square-foot Shops at Lackawanna retail component, is currently being renovated to include baking facilities, distribution space and offices. Located at 629 Grove St., Lackawanna Center contains 1.3 million square feet of industrial, office and retail space. It is managed by Emmes Asset Managemnt and Sal Goldman Investments.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — The Salvation Army has acquired the former Kia auto dealership located at 2458 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth. The buyer plans to convert the 33,000-square-foot building into one of its thrift stores. Jean Kane of The Kane Company represented the buyer. Chris McInnis of Paul McInnis, Inc., represented the undisclosed seller.

MIAMI — An entity affiliated with Urban America has acquired Northside Centre, a shopping center located at NW 27th Avenue and NW 79th Street in Miami. The 475,579-square-foot shopping center sold for $18 million. The 80-percent-leased property is occupied by Walgreens, Presidente Supermarket, Payless Shoes, Citibank, Foot Locker, Rainbow Fashions, CitiTrends, Simply Fashions and Dots. Anthony Blanco, Jim Michalak and Lenard Williams of Plaza Advisors represented the seller; Gene Snyder & Co. represented the undisclosed buyer in the transaction.

HUNTSVILLE, ALA. — CBL & Associates Properties has acquired the remaining 50 percent interest in Parkway Place in Huntsville from its joint venture partner, Colonial Properties Trust. The interest was purchased for $38.8 million, comprised of $17.9 million in cash and assumption of remaining $20.9 million in the loan, which was secured by Parkway Place. Situated on 34 acres, the 647,000-square-foot property is occupied by Belk, Dillard's, Carabba's Italian Grill, Chico's, The Buckle, Forever 21, Pottery Barn, Victoria's Secret and Charming Charlie.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — RHYS Commercial has brokered the sale of a 12,000-square-foot retail property located in White Plains. Situated at 201 Tarrytown Road, the two-story property is tenanted by Papa John's, Subway and Service Master. Alexander Anderson of RHYS served as the sole broker in the deal between the seller, 10 East 127th Street Corp., and the buyer, Marcel Tarrytown Realty.
