CLERMONT, FLA. — Doug Rozzell of Thomas D. Wood & Co. has arranged a $9.19 million construction loan for the Golden Eagle Village Publix. The 63,950-square-foot Golden Eagle Village will be located on Highway 27 in Clermont. A national bank provided financing for the loan.

BARRINGTON, ILL. — Walgreens Barrington 1 LLC has acquired a 14,490-square-foot Walgreens location in Barrington. Located at 189 Northwest Highway, the property sold for $9.27 million. The retail property is 100 percent leased to Walgreens on a long-term basis. Randy Blankstein and Jimmy Goodman of The Boulder Group represented the seller, a private Chicago-based developer, in the transaction.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, ILL. — Agree Realty has purchased a CVS/pharmacy retail property, which is located at the intersection of West Algonquin and Lakewood roads in Lake in the Hills. The property was acquired for approximately $5.8 million. The building is currently net leased to CVS/Caremark Corp., which has 24 years remaining on the base term of the lease.
WEST LEBANON, N.H. — The Boston office of NorthMarq Capital has arranged $7.49 million in permanent financing for Kmart Plaza in West Lebanon. The 178,997-square-foot shopping center is located along Route 12A. Its anchors include Kmart, TJ Maxx and Jo Ann Fabrics. NorthMarq arranged the loan on behalf of the borrower, Windalier West Lebanon LLC, through People’s United Bank. Terms of the loan were not disclosed.
GREENVILLE, S.C. — RealtyLink has brokered the $2.5 million sale of a Verizon retail store between two undisclosed parties. The property is located on 1.21 acres on US Highway 29 in Greenville. The building is situated near a Target, a PetsMart and a Hobby Lobby.
BELLEVILLE, ILL. — Swansea, Ill.-based Holland Construction Services has completed the first phase of renovations at an Eckert’s Country and Farm location in Belleville. The $5 million renovation included a 22,000-square-foot expansion, which will provide more space for local produce and meat, specialty food and a bakery, and a 1,200-square-foot cooking and workshop classroom. The second phase of construction is currently under way. The second phase includes the renovation and expansion of Eckert’s Country Restaurant, doubling its capacity and adding curbside meal pick-up, the additional parking and a new outdoor plaza space. The Lawrence Group provided architectural services for the project.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Albertson's and Cook Children's Health Care have signed leases totaling 77,620 square feet at Westcliff Shopping Center in Fort Worth. The 136,320-square-foot property is located at 3511 Biddison St. Albertson's leased a 39,120-square-foot, stand-alone building and has invested $5 million in upgrades to the property. Cook renewed its 38,500-square-foot lease.
DUBLIN, OHIO — Cleveland-based Cooper Commercial Investment Group has completed the disposition of Tuttle Crossing, a retail plaza located at 6079 Park Center Circle in Dublin. The 6,145-square-foot property is anchored by Chipotle Mexican Grill, Sprint PCS and GameStop. The fully occupied plaza sold for $2.52 million or $411 per square foot. Additionally, assumable, non-recourse, fully amortizing financing was in place on the property with approximately 9 years remaining at a 5.69 percent interest rate. Dan Cooper of Cooper Commercial represented the Kentucky-based sellers. The property was purchase by a private Ohio-based buyer.
CENTRAL FLORIDA — PCL Construction Services will soon start work on the 145-acre LEGOLAND Florida theme park in Central Florida. The property, which was designed by Morris Architects, will deliver during the fall of 2011. LEGOLAND Florida will encompass more than 50 rides, shows and attractions aimed at children between the ages of 2 and 12.
MECHANICSVILLE, VA. — GDA Real Estate has purchased the 46,743-square-foot Bell Creek Commons shopping center from Atlantic Realty Investments for $11.1 million. The property, which is anchored by Best Buy, is located at the intersection of Interstate 295 and Mechanicsville Turnpike. The 2-year-old center is 97 percent occupied. Kris Cooper, Margaret Caldwell and Christine Hawver of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the seller.
