SIMI VALLEY, CALIF. — Evergreen Development Co. has completed the design, development and construction of a 10,000-square-foot Walgreens at the intersection of Sycamore Drive and Cochran St. in Simi Valley. Situated in the Sycamore Village shopping center, the first Walgreens in the city will be open 24 hours a day and will also feature a drive-through pharmacy.

HARRISONBURG, VA. — Best Buy has signed a lease with THF Harrisonburg Crossing LLC to occupy 32,958 square feet of space at Harrisonburg Crossing in Harrisonburg. The shopping center also houses The Home Depot, Ross Dress for Less, Walmart, Barnes & Noble Booksellers and Staples. Gerald Divaris and Debbie Wake of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord.

CRESTWOOD, ILL. — Burlington, N.J.-based Burlington Coat Factory has signed a lease to occupy 70,000 square feet of space at the corner of Cicero Avenue and Calumet Sag Road in Crestwood. The new store is expected to open in August and will co-anchor Mid-America Asset Management’s 175,427-square-foot retail center at the site. Mary Beth Menelli and Richard Spinell provided in-house representation for Mid-America; Brad Gershman of Gershman, Brown & Crowley represented the tenant in the transaction. Terms of the lease were not released.

NEW YORK CITY — Complete Body & Spa is opening a 13,640-square-foot fitness club at 301 E. 57th St. in midtown Manhattan. The physical fitness and wellness center will feature a 2,464-square-foot sundeck, an indoor swimming pool with a retractable roof, personal training, fitness classes, massage therapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, spray tanning, a sauna, laundry service and a juice bar. The club is expected to open in April.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Simon Property Group has completed the second phase of development for the 304-acre Domain, an Austin mixed-use project located on property formerly owned by IBM. The phase, known as Domain II, is anchored by Dillard's and Dick's Sporting Goods. The Beck Group of Dallas designed the property's retail and office space and served as general contractor. The first phase, which opened in 2007, is anchored by Neiman Marcus.

IRVING, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of a 7,225-square-foot retail building between two private parties for $1.48 million. The property, located at 444 N. O'Connor Road in Irving, is net-leased to O'Reilly Auto Parts, the third-largest auto parts dealer in the country. William Bennett, Gino Lollio and Andy Gallas of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller. Timothy Speck also helped close the deal.

FLORIDA — Mattress Firm has signed leases for 10 new locations in Florida and plans to open 15 more stores statewide in the next 18 months. The tenant primarily leases locations ranging from 3,200 square feet to 4,000 square feet. Tom Godino, Greg Godino and Ross Waters of Jupiter, Fla.-based Atlantic Retail Properties represented Mattress Firm in the 10 leases.

LEMAY, MO. — Yates/Paric has completed the construction of River City Casino, a $375 million casino project located in Lemay. Situated along the Mississippi River, the 90,000-square-foot casino offers more than 2,000 slot machines, approximately 55 table games, a restaurant, food service areas and entertainment venues. The project is owned and developed by Pinnacle Entertainment. Yates/Paric is a joint venture between Philadelphia-based W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Co. and St. Louis-based Paric Corp.

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. — ULTA Beauty is opening a 10,800-square-foot beauty retail store at Barnegat, N.J.-based Walters Group’s Stafford Park in Stafford Township. Construction is currently under way and completion is scheduled for this fall. Current tenants of the mixed-use development include Dick’s Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Costco, Target and Best Buy.

FRISCO — Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT I and Fairways Frisco are developing a 12-screen Cinemark movie theater at the Frisco Square mixed-use project in Frisco. The Cinemark property will be located on Frisco Square Boulevard. Features of the theater include a Cinemark XD: Extreme Digital Cinema auditorium, stadium seating and a self-serve concession stand.
