CHICAGO — Chicago-based First Western Properties has completed six leases at Stony Island Plaza, a newly constructed retail center located at the intersection of 81st Street and Stony Island Avenue in Chicago. Eugene Bryant Interior Design and US Cellular have each leased 1,200 square feet at the property. AFLAC Friends & Family Insurance, Thomas Gary Art Studio, Crown & Glory Spa and an emergency services company have each taken 800 square feet at the center. The transactions were negotiated by Paul Tsakiris and Fahim Lakhani of First Western. Approximately 2,500 square feet of space is still available at the newly constructed Stony Island Plaza. Terms of the leases were not disclosed.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — A 24,340-square-foot Goody Goody Liquor store recently opened at Ridglea Plaza, Centro Properties Group’s retail center located south of Interstate 30 on the southwest corner of Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth. Ron Patton of Dallas-based Patton Interests represented the tenant in the transaction. Mike Watson with New York-based Centro Properties Group represented the owner.

BROOMFIELD, COLO.. — Regency Centers is set to open Shops at Quail Creek, a 137,429-square-foot shopping center located at West 136th Avenue and Zuni Street in Broomfield. The center will be anchored by a 100,000-square-foot King Soopers grocery store. Additional tenants will include Quail Creek Wine and Spirits, Corona’s Mexican Grill, Dental One and FirstBank.

MARTINSBURG, W. VA. — Forty Thirty Five has purchased an Advance Auto Parts store from an undisclosed seller for $1.58 million. The store is located at 1392 Edwin Miller Blvd. in Martinsburg. Advance Auto Parts has 12 years remaining on its NNN lease. The buyer sold an apartment complex in Center City to create the 1031 exchange. Mark Taylor and Dean Zang of Marcus & Millichap’s Philadelphia office and Kenneth Wellar of the firm’s Encino, Calif., office represented the buyer. Milco Investments represented the seller.

JANESVILLE, WIS. — Lee & Associates has negotiated a 30,431-square-foot lease for Slumberland Furniture at the intersection of highways 14 and 26 in Janesville. The Little Canada, Minn.-based furniture retailer will occupy the space formerly leased to Walmart. The lease features a 10-year term and totals $2.5 million. Steven Doran of Leed & Associates represented the tenant. The landlord is Northbrook, Ill.-based D&B Development.

15,200-SQUARE-FOOT SELF-STORAGE FACILITY FETCHES $1.2 MILLION OCEAN SHORES, WASH. — Joel Deis, Michael Morgan and Christopher Secreto of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller in the disposition of Exact Self-Storage, a 15,200-square-foot self-storage facility in Ocean Shores. Located at 943 Point Brown Ave. S., the 73-unit property sold for $1.2 million.

CHICAGO — Joseph Freed & Associates has announced five new tenants for the Block 37 retail project currently under development on State Street in Chicago. Locally based clothier Bigsby & Kruthers will open a 9,000-square-foot location on the project’s second floor. Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant Tahini will open a 1,500-square-foot restaurant on the Transit Level. Frozen yogurt and kefir shop Starfruit Café, which is owned by Morton Grove, Ill.-based Lifeway Foods, also will open a 700-square-foot location on the Transit Level. Sunglass Hut will open a 1,000-square-foot location on Level One. Finally, Swarvoski, a crystal maker, will open a 900-square-foot location on Level One. They will join a tenant roster that already includes Muvico, Lettuce Entertain You, PUMA, Zara, Anthropologie, and a new salon and store from Aveda. Tenant move-in dates were not released.

CINCINNATI — Little Caesars Pizza has signed a lease for 2,000 square feet at Hyde Park Plaza, a 396,810-square-foot shopping center located at 3760-3880 Paxton Rd. in Cincinnati. Once it opens in June, the pizza chain will join a tenant roster that includes a 99,675-square-foot Kroger, as well as Great Clips, H&R Block, Massage Envy, Starbucks Coffee, Staples, ACE Hardware, Walgreens, Michaels, PNC Bank and National City Bank. The center is owned and operated by Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers.

SAN MARCOS AND LEAGUE CITY, TEXAS — Dallas-based Dunhill Partners has disposed of San Mar Plaza, a 185,092-square-foot community shopping center located in San Marcos. The property was 100 percent occupied at the time of closing by a tenant roster that is anchored by Hobby Lobby, Tractor Supply and Hastings Entertainment. Additional tenants include Dollar General, Payless ShoeSource and Verizon Wireless. The property was acquired by San Francisco-based Ratel Value Fund I. In addition, Dunhill Partners has acquired South Shore Marketplace, a 32,013-square-foot community shopping center located in League City. Tenants at the property include Subway, AT&T, Century 21 and Chase Bank. The center is shadow-anchored by a Kroger. The seller was Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers. The acquisition prices in both transactions were undisclosed.

MISSION VIEJO, CALIF. — Trabuco Hills Pads LLC has acquired a 24,250-square-foot portion of Trabuco Hills Shopping Center, which is located on Santa Margarita Parkway in Mission Viejo. The $14.4 million sale included Walgreens, Claim Jumper and Ramona Tire, which are located at 27785, 27845 and 27865 Santa Margarita Parkway, respectively. Dennis Vaccaro and Richard Walter of Faris Lee Investments represented the seller, Pacific Castle Props I LLC, in the transaction.
