QUINCY, ILL. — SRS Real Estate Partners has brokered the $2.6 million sale of a Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers ground lease in Quincy, a city in western Illinois. The 3,062-square-foot restaurant features a drive-thru and is located at 3601 Broadway St. The newly developed property serves as an outparcel to Target and is directly across the street from Quincy Commons Shopping Center. Matthew Mousavi and Patrick Luther of SRS represented the seller, a Chicago-based merchant developer. Alexander Moore of SRS represented the buyer, a private investor from Sacramento, Calif. The lease term is 15 years.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. — Local developer The Connell Co. has broken ground on a 55,000-square-foot entertainment building at The Park, a 185-acre mixed-use development in the northern New Jersey community of Berkeley Heights. The building will be located within The District, a 60-acre section of the larger campus. Tenants that have committed to the new building include craft beer provider Emberside Brewery, Mexican restaurant Rosa Azul and speakeasy-style steakhouse and entertainment concept BASH. Completion is slated for 2026.
PHILADELPHIA — honeygrow, a Philadelphia-based fast casual eatery known for made-to-order stir-fry, salads and honeybars, has signed leases to open four new restaurants in the Northeast. The restaurants will be located within the Lakeway Commons shopping center in Shrewsbury, Mass.; at the 150-acre Waldorf Station development in Waldorf, Md.; in the newly constructed Freehold Marketplace in Freehold, N.J.; and within Beltway Towne Center in Mechanicsburg, Pa. All openings are slated for 2025.
OMAHA, NEB. — Lockwood Construction has begun demolition work on a former Charleston’s restaurant space in Omaha. Terra Gaucha, a Brazilian steakhouse, will open in the 8,788-square-foot space. The new location marks the restaurant’s first venture into Omaha. The building will feature an expanded dining area to accommodate private dining, an expansive wine wall and open bar concept, and extensive exterior updates and landscaping to coincide with other Terra Gaucha locations. The restaurant is expected to open in May 2025.
GRAND ISLAND, NEB. — Travelers Taproom has opened a 4,139-square-foot taproom at Northwest Commons Shopping Center in Grand Island, a city in central Nebraska. The Staenberg Group manages the property at 2230 N. Webb Road. Travelers Taproom offers a self-pour experience, where guests can choose from 60 rotating taps featuring local beers, ciders and seltzers. There is also a whiskey, bourbon and wine bar. Travelers Taproom is inspired by the owners’ travels across the country. Additional tenants at the shopping center include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Burlington, T-Mobile, Spectrum and Pro Image Sports.
NAPERVILLE, ILL. — Lee & Associates has negotiated a 3,163-square-foot restaurant lease at Riverwalk Plaza in downtown Naperville, a suburb of Chicago. U Sushi Club Rotary Sushi Bar leased the second-floor space. Michael Petrik and Rick Scardino of Lee & Associates represented the landlord, Naper LP. The building offers onsite parking and is located adjacent to the Naperville Public Library and near the Naperville Riverwalk.
FAIRVIEW, TEXAS — Revolving Kitchen has opened a 30,000-square-foot food hall at 146 Town Place in Fairview, a northern suburb of Dallas. The food hall will feature 34 fully equipped commercial kitchen spaces ranging in size from 260 to 1,100 square feet. Operators that have already committed to Revolving Kitchen Fairview include Brooklyn Bagels, Chanko Nutrition and Emmy J’s Pizza. Lincoln Property Co. owns the building.

COSTA MESA, CALIF. — Space Investment Partners has completed an $11 million renovation of The Ranch at Newport Bay, a 60,000-square-foot, grocer-anchored mixed-use retail property in Costa Mesa. The asset is located at 2651-2675 Irvine Ave. With the addition of Verde, a restaurant and bar concept, The Ranch is fully occupied. Verde, which opened in November, occupies two spaces in the neighborhood center encompassing 5,000 square feet. Created by Koire Rogers and Anthony Laborin, Verde features a highly developed beverage program in its lower-level Verde Bar and ingredient-driven seasonal California cuisine in its upper level restaurant. Additional tenants include Nike Training Studio (4,100 square feet), XPT Studio (900 square feet), Del Mar Wellness (1,350 square feet), Coffee Dose (1,300 square feet) and Tiny Tooth Pediatric Dentistry (2,091 square feet). Irvine Ranch Market, as the anchor tenant, occupies 17,500 square feet at the center.
CTO Announces New Retail Openings, Leases at Collection at Forsyth in Cumming, Georgia

CUMMING, GA. — CTO Realty Growth Inc. has announced a round of new retail openings and leases at The Collection at Forsyth, an open-air mixed-use development in Cumming, an Atlanta suburb in Forsyth County. Sephora and Kilwins opened new locations at The Collection in November, and boutique Pilates fitness concept Bodyrok and pickleball concept The Picklr have recently signed leases to join the tenant roster. Sherri Wilson of JLL handles the retail leasing at The Collection on behalf of CTO. Additionally, True Rest Float Spa and Bahama Buck’s are set to open in the coming weeks, joining existing tenants including J. Crew Factory, Mellow Mushroom, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Pandora, Parsons Gifts, Le Macaron, Master Jewelers, Woof Gang Bakery, The Good Feet Store, Spavia and F45 Training. JLL launched repositioning and leasing efforts at The Collection in January 2023.
HOUSTON — Rice Real Estate Co., the property investment arm of Rice University, has welcomed three new tenants to Rice Village, a 300,000-square-foot shopping, dining and entertainment destination located southwest of downtown Houston. The new tenants are New Orleans-based eyewear brand KREWE (941 square feet), boys’ boutique apparel retailer ParkerJoe (1,975 square feet) and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams (1,603 square feet). KREWE will open in early December, and ParkerJoe and Jeni’s will open in early 2025.
