SAN DIEGO — NAI San Diego has arranged the sale of a retail/office property located at 2176-2180 Chatsworth Blvd. in San Diego’s Ocean Beach/Point Loma neighborhood. Fig Tree LLC acquired the 10,000-square-foot property from Wilson Trust for $2.2 million. Built in 1943, the property is currently occupied by a gym/martial arts studio, an English-style tea shop, an acupuncturist, nail and hair salons, a real estate office and a residential unit on the upper floor. WOODSTOCK, ILL. — Quantum Real Estate Advisors Inc. has brokered the sale of a 13,915-square-foot multi-tenant retail center in Woodstock for $1.8 million. The retail center is located at 11620 Catalpa Lane. The property is 80 percent occupied by national and regional tenants including Great Clips, Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., Anytime Fitness and Lucky Bernie’s. Chad Firsel of Quantum Real Estate Advisors represented the seller, a Chicago-based investment group. A private real estate investor based in the northern suburbs of Chicago was the buyer.
ST. LOUIS, MO. — Hilliker Corp. has brokered the sale of a 5,000-square-foot retail property at 1716 S. Broadway in the Soulard area of St. Louis for $400,000. Grateful Pets purchased the property for its daycare facility, pet training area and grooming room. Rebecca Suen of Hilliker Corp. represented the buyer. Dan Lesinski and Brandon Wappelhorst of Sansone Group represented the seller, 1716 S. Broadway LLC.
NEW YORK CITY — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of a mixed-use multifamily asset located at 59 Thompson Street in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. Veracity Equities acquired the property from Whistlepig Associates for $21.5 million, or approximately $1,315 per square foot. The six-story, 15,918-square-foot building comprises two ground-floor commercial units and 34 residential apartments. Of the residential units, 27 are free market and seven are subject to rent stabilization. Robert Burton and Keegan Mehlhorn of Cushman & Wakefield brokered the all-cash transaction.
HOUSTON — NorthMarq Capital has arranged refinancing for Northville Plaza, a retail property located in Houston. Mattress One, Tile Max and Allstate occupy the 14,400-square-foot property. Warren Hitchcock of NorthMarq Capital’s Houston office arranged the non-recourse, 15-year fixed-rate loan on behalf of the undisclosed borrower.
LITTLE ELM, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Lake Shore Crossing, a retail property located in Little Elm. A developer sold the 16,500-square-foot property to a private investor for an undisclosed sum. At the time of sale, the property was fully occupied to a variety of tenants on triple-net leases. Bill Jordan of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and secured the buyer in the deal.
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Equitable Commercial Realty (ECR) has facilitated four office and retail leases in Austin. In the first transaction, Herbert J. Sims & Co. leased 966 square feet of office space at 815 Brazos. Patrick Ley and Rebecca Zigterman of ECR represented the undisclosed landlord, while Jon Wheless of Aquila Commercial represented the tenant. In the second deal, Timeless Interiors Inc. leased 9,683 of office square feet at 1110 S RR 620. Ley and Haley Smith of ECR represented the undisclosed landlord. In the third transaction, Berserk Games leased 775 square feet of retail space at 800 Brazos from an undisclosed landlord. Jason Steinberg and Matt Levin of ECR represented the landlord, while Steve Gillespie of Texas Office Advisors represented the tenant. In the final deal, Buildfax leased 3,414 square feet of office space at the Heierman Building, located at 115 E. 5th St. Steinberg and Haley Berry Smith of ECR represented the undisclosed landlord, while Gaines Bagby of CBRE represented the tenant.
MARLTON, N.J. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of a retail property located in Marlton. A private investor acquired the 8,110-square-foot property for an undisclosed price. Michael Lombardi of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a private investor, and the buyer in the deal.
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — The Richland Cos. has entered the Corpus Christi market with the acquisition of Pizza Hut & Wing Street, located at 2120 S. Staples St. across from Del Mar College East Campus. The restaurant property is situated on a 46,110-square-foot land parcel. The acquisition price and name of the seller were not released. The property is Richland’s 35th asset, marking more than 2.5 million square feet of properties that the company owns and manages in four states.
BISMARCK, N.D. — Mid-America Real Estate Corp. has arranged the sale of Pinehurst Square West, a 69,119-square-foot shopping center in Bismarck. The sale price was not disclosed. The center is located at the northeast quadrant of I-94 and Tyler Parkway and is anchored by Best Buy, PetSmart and Dollar Tree. Joe Girardi and Ben Wineman of Mid-America Real Estate, in cooperation with Jill Duemeland of Duemelands Commercial Real Estate, were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of the seller. Dakota REIT was the buyer.
