JOLIET, ILL. — Chipotle Mexican Grill has opened at Rock Run Collection in Joliet. The new restaurant features a Chipotlane drive-thru pickup lane for digital orders. The location is expected to bring approximately 30 new jobs to the Joliet area. Chipotle joins the now-open Hollywood Casino Joliet and The View at Rock Run Collection, upscale apartments that are currently leasing. Future tenants will include Drury Hotel, Chick-fil-A and Ricky Rockets. Cullinan Properties is the developer of Rock Run Collection, a mixed-use project spanning more than 300 acres at the intersection of I-55 and I-80.

ELMSFORD AND NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — DLC, in partnership with a fund managed by DRA Advisors, has acquired a multi-state shopping center portfolio in an off-market transaction for $429 million. Totaling 2.1 million square feet, the portfolio comprises eight shopping centers across five states. The seller was not disclosed. The properties include Central Texas Marketplace in Waco, Texas; Portofino Shopping Center in the Houston suburb of Shenandoah; Watauga Pavilion in the Dallas suburb of Watauga; Shops at Park Place in Plano, Texas; Pavilion at King’s Grant in the northeast Charlotte suburb of Concord, N.C.; International Speedway Square in Daytona Beach, Fla.; Peoria Square in Glendale, Ariz.; and Belle Isle Station in Oklahoma City, Okla. The portfolio was 91.3 percent leased at the time of sale. Long-term tenants across the portfolio include Nordstrom Rack, REI, T.J. Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Dick’s Sporting Goods, HomeGoods, Marshalls, Total Wine & More and Ulta Beauty. This portfolio marks DLC’s first retail acquisitions in Phoenix and Oklahoma and expands the company’s existing presence in Texas and Florida. FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Atlanta-based Smalls Sliders has signed a franchise agreement to open five new units, dubbed “cans,” in North Fort Worth. Local development group Slidin Thru LLC will operate the new locations. Smalls Sliders has recently opened additional units in Texas, including El Paso, Tomball, Willis and Arlington. Founded in 2019, Smalls Sliders currently has 375 cans open or under development across 30 states.
GREEN BAY, WIS. — Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors has brokered the $25.4 million sale of Green Bay Plaza, a 232,796-square-foot shopping center anchored by T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods and Ross Dress for Less in Green Bay. Kevin Fryman, Bill Asher and Jeff Lefko of Hanley, in association with ParaSell Inc., represented the seller, Anenberg Asset Management, a family office based in Newport Beach, Calif. The buyer, Chicago-based Core Acquisitions, was self-represented. Built in 1960 and expanded in 2003, Green Bay Plaza is 89 percent occupied. Additional tenants include Burlington, Dollar Tree, Sierra, Five Below, Crunch Fitness and Skechers Outlet. The property is located two miles from Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.
DUBLIN, OHIO — Woodside Health has acquired Dublin Corners, a three-building retail and medical property located at 5833-5885 Frantz Road in the Columbus suburb of Dublin. The property spans approximately 22,950 leasable square feet on 3.7 acres and is currently fully leased to a mix of tenants in the healthcare, wellness and retail services. A local developer was the seller. Cleveland-based Woodside Health is a private equity firm that invests in healthcare real estate.
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS — Fort Worth-based owner-operator Trademark has welcomed seven new tenants to Market Street — The Woodlands, a mixed-use development located about 30 miles north of Houston. Jewelers David Yurman and gorjana, as well as women’s apparel brand Draper James, children’s clothing retailer Pink Chicken, Love Shack Fancy and Local Public Eatery, all opened their doors this fall. Fragrances provider Le Labo is set to open early next year.
PLANTATION, FLA. — Core Investment Management has acquired Jacaranda Plaza, a 175,084-square-foot shopping center located at the intersection of West Sunrise Boulevard and North University Drive in Plantation. The South Florida property was nearly 98 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Publix, Ross Dress for Less, Five Below, Planet Fitness and Dollar Tree. Publix has anchored the center for 25 years, according to JLL. Danny Finkle, Jorge Portela and Evan Lahr of JLL represented the buyer in the transaction. Chris Drew, Brian Gaswirth and Luke Maganas of JLL arranged an undisclosed amount of acquisition financing on behalf of Core.

KENNESAW, GA. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of University Point, a 12,800-square-foot retail center located on the Kennesaw State University (KSU) campus in northwest Georgia. Located at 1133 Chastain Road NW near I-75, University Point’s tenant roster includes Mellow Mushroom, Jimmy John’s, WingStop, Insomnia Cookies, Tinto’s Café, Vivint Smart Home and the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Office. Zach Taylor and Eric Abbott of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a private real estate owner based in Atlanta, in the transaction. The buyer was also not disclosed.
HENDERSON, NEV. — A partnership between Partners Capital Inc. and CAST has announced the first wave of tenants for The Cliff, a 100,000-square-foot retail development located in Henderson, roughly 15 miles outside Las Vegas. Retail and restaurant concepts including The Taco Stand, Killer Whale Creamery, Lyte House, The Barista Botanist and Next Health, along with new anchor tenant Arhaus, are anticipated to open by late 2026. Construction is set to begin in early 2026. Serving as the gateway to the Green Valley Ranch master-planned community, The Cliff is anticipated to open in fall 2026 and will be Henderson’s first retail development in more than 20 years, according to the development team.
FLAGSTAFF, ARIZ. — CBRE has arranged the ground-lease sale of a single-tenant retail property located at 1010 N. Country Club Drive in Flagstaff. Viking Properties VII LLC, a California-based farming family, acquired the asset for $8.4 million. Ben Farthing and Owen Littrell of CBRE represented the sellers, two Tucson-based private capital investors, in the all-cash transaction. 7-Eleven occupies the property on an absolute triple-net lease with 12 years remaining. The site includes 12 fueling stations, a car wash and a convenience store.
