CANTON, MICH. — Coffee Dreams has signed a 2,280-square-foot retail lease at Canton Corners shopping center in Canton, a western suburb of Detroit. The property, located on Lilley Road, now has one space remaining for lease. Michael Murphy and Jack Melton of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the undisclosed landlord.

PHILADELPHIA — The Palomar Group, a Georgia-based brokerage firm, has negotiated the sale of a 221,157-square-foot shopping center in South Philadelphia. The grocery-anchored property is known as the South Philadelphia Shopping Center and is home to tenants such as ShopRite, Ross Dress for Less, Five Below, Burger King, Sherwin-Williams, Dunkin’ and Aaron’s. Palomar represented the seller, a publicly traded REIT, in the transaction. The buyer was a New York-based investor. Both parties requested anonymity.
WOBURN, MASS. — CBRE has brokered the sale of a 38,000-square-foot shopping center located at 99-103 Commerce Way in Woburn, a northern suburb of Boston. Known as MetroNorth Shopping Center, the property houses tenants such as Petco, The Vitamin Shoppe, Gardner Mattress, Pediatrics Urgent Care and Starbucks Coffee. Nat Heald and Jordana Roet of CBRE represented the undisclosed seller and procured the buyer, Calare Properties, in the transaction. Kyle Juszczyszyn and Matt Machiros, also with CBRE, arranged an undisclosed amount of acquisition financing for the deal.
BRAINTREE, MASS. — Dick’s Sporting Goods will open a store at South Shore Plaza in Braintree, located south of Boston. The square footage was not disclosed. Nordstrom currently occupies the space. Simon Property Group owns South Shore Plaza, which is home to about 200 retail, restaurant and entertainment operators. The opening is scheduled for summer 2026.
Storm Properties Acquires Self-Storage, Retail Property in Escondido, California for $10.5M

ESCONDIDO, CALIF. — Storm Properties has purchased a self-storage and retail asset in Escondido for $10.5 million. Located at 510 and 520 W. Valley Parkway, the property features 37,125 square feet of storage buildings, a 7,000-square-foot retail strip building and a 5,900-square-foot pad for future retail development. The self-storage facility offers 262 storage units, while the retail space consists of four in-line suites and a single-tenant retail building. One of the retail suites serves as the onsite management for the self-storage facility. The retail is 100 percent occupied, while 97 percent of the self-storage units are currently rented. Storm Properties, a subsidiary of Torrance, Calif.-based Storm Industries, currently manages a diverse portfolio of multifamily, industrial and retail properties.
DELAVAN, WIS. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $9.7 million sale of Delavan Crossings, a 41,898-square-foot retail strip center in Delavan, about 45 miles southwest of Milwaukee. The 25-suite property, built in 2003, is comprised of three buildings. Some of the tenants include Starbucks, Domino’s, Jersey Mike’s, AT&T, Verizon and Great Clips. Jeff Rowlett of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, New York-based Ten Patels Realty. Adrian Mendoza, Sean Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck of Marcus & Millichap procured the buyer, a private investor. The trio also secured financing from a credit union lender.
MATAWAN, N.J. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $3 million sale of a 20,665-square-foot retail center in Matawan, about 40 miles south of Manhattan. The property is known as Matawan Mall and is home to 11 tenants, with Dunkin’ serving as the anchor. Brent Hyldahl, Alan Cafiero and Seth Goldberg of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, Brupat Holdings LLC, in the sale, which was conducted via auction platform Ten-X. The trio also procured the buyer, a local private investor.
MYSTIC, CONN. — Colliers has arranged the $2.9 million sale of a retail building in Mystic, located in southern coastal Connecticut. The building at 49-53 Main St. formerly housed the Bank Street Book Store and totals 9,000 square feet, according to LoopNet Inc. John Cafasso of Colliers represented the buyer, jeweler Lux Bond & Green, which also plans to occupy the property, in the transaction. Judi Carcausa of William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty represented the undisclosed seller.
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the $5.6 million sale of a 16,698-square-foot retail property in the Northern New Jersey community of Ridgewood. The property at 30-38 Oak St. was 92 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Park West Tavern, Je Lu Ja Spa and Ridgewood Education Association. Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, Andre Balthazard, Dan Bottiglieri and David Bernhaut of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Onyx Equities, in the transaction. The buyer was not disclosed.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA. — Wegmans, a grocer based in upstate New York, has announced plans to open its first Pittsburgh-area store. An opening date was not announced, but the store will span 115,000 square feet and will be located on a 13-acre site on Cool Springs Drive in Cranberry Township, a northern suburb of the Steel City. Wegmans plans to hire between 400 and 500 full- and part-time employees to staff the new store.
