LOS ANGELES — The Crack Shack, an all-day chicken and egg restaurant, is opening its first Los Angeles location at Westfield Century City. Slated to open in spring 2018, the restaurant is owned by Michael Rosen, chef Richard Blais and chef Jon Sloan. Century City will be the restaurant’s fourth location and will feature outdoor patio dining, picnic-style seating, fire pits and communal-dining fire tables, a bocce ball court and open-air children’s play spaces. The Crack Shack is currently located in San Diego and Encinitas, Calif., with a third location opening in Costa Mesa later this year.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Sinatra & Company Real Estate has acquired 10 mixed-use properties in Buffalo for a combined total of $12.7 million. Roger Chainani’s 1000 Elmwood Associates LLC and 1256 Hertel Avenue Associates LLC sold the properties. The properties include a variety of uses and tenants: – 427 Elmwood features a three-story, 10,246-square-foot mixed-use building with two retail businesses, a restaurant space, 4,000 square feet of vacant office space and two apartments. – 494 Elmwood is a 12,938-square-foot restaurant property occupied by Tokyo Shanghai Restaurant. – 500 Elmwood is a 3,024-square-foot building with restaurant, retail and apartment space. – 502 Elmwood is a single-story, 2,464-square-foot restaurant building, which will be occupied by House of Hummus. – Saigon Café occupies the 6,992-square-foot restaurant property at 520 Elmwood. – Mezza Restaurant & Lounge occupies the 3,747-square-foot building at 929 Elmwood. – 1000 Elmwood is a 10,560-square-foot mixed-use building currently occupied by The Market on Elmwood and Ashker’s on the first floor with residential or office space on the second floor. – India Gate and Hong Kong Kitchen occupy the 6,710-square-foot building at 1116 Elmwood. – The properties at 1122 Elmwood and 1256 Hertel Ave. both offer retail space.

COLERAIN AND WEST CHESTER, OHIO — Colliers International has brokered the sale-leaseback of two restaurant properties in Ohio for $5.3 million. Both single-tenant properties are net leased to TGI Friday’s. The property in West Chester sold for $2.2 million while the one in Colerain sold for $3.1 million. Chris Prosser, Jeff Johnston and Steve Timmel of Colliers International represented the seller, Bistro Real Estate Holdings. The buyer was not disclosed.

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — Block & Co. Inc. Realtors has brokered the sale of a 2,448-square-foot retail property occupied by Panda Express in Overland Park. The sales price was not disclosed. The property is located within Glenwood Plaza Shopping Center at 9090 Metcalf Ave. Other tenants at the shopping center include Walmart, TJ Maxx, Dollar Tree and Subway. Alex Block and David M. Block of Block & Co. brokered the sale on behalf of the seller, Glo-Rae Glenwood LLC. Block & Co. is the leasing and property management company for both the shopping center and the Panda Express property.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Newk’s Eatery, a Mississippi-based fast casual restaurant chain, will open seven new locations in the Fort Worth area. Specific sites have not yet been chosen and a timeline for delivery of the new units has not yet been established. The company operates more than 100 locations, which typically measure anywhere between 3,800 to 4,300 square feet, throughout the country.

DENTON, TEXAS — Kansas City-based EPC Real Estate Group will build The Village at Rayzor Ranch, a 292-unit apartment community situated on an 11–acre parcel at Rayzor Ranch Town Center in Denton. The property will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom units and amenities such as a resort-style pool, outdoor grilling areas, a fitness center and a dog park. EPC expects to break ground on the property in early 2018. Construction of a 7,500-square-foot Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and a Zoe’s Kitchen is also scheduled to begin later this year at Rayzor Ranch, with mid-2018 the target opening date.

GAINESVILLE, TEXAS — Villa Grande Mexican Restaurant will open a 3,800-square-foot location at 201 N. Interstate 35 in the North Texas city of Gainesville. Paul Vernon of Henry S. Miller Brokerage LLC represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Jim Jamerson and Kenley Minchew of The John T. Evans Co. represented the landlord, CR Midway Investment LP. The location, which is the restaurant’s fifth, will open in October.

CHICAGO — Joe & The Juice has signed three leases to open its first locations in Chicago. The properties are located at 10 E. Delaware Place, 412 N. Wells St. and 8 E. Huron St. The Denmark-based company is known for its natural and organic ingredients in freshly prepared juices, coffee, shakes and sandwiches. The locations, the company’s first in the Midwest, are slated to open later this year and in 2018. Phil Golding, Todd Siegel and Amira Yunis of CBRE represented Joe & The Juice in the lease transactions.

LONG BEACH, CALIF. — SRS Real Estate Partners has arranged the sale of a restaurant property located in Long Beach. An undisclosed buyer acquired the property for $5 million, or $1,685 per square foot. The newly constructed 2,967-square-foot property is occupied by Carl’s Jr., which opened in July. Matthew Mousavi, Patrick Luther, Garrett Colburn and Townsand Cropsey of SRS represented the undisclosed seller in the deal.
