GREENSBORO, N.C. — Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings has signed a lease for 72,000 square feet in the Meadowview Crossing office complex and will invest $4 million into the building during the next 3 years. The Greensboro property will eventually house 373 employees. The tenant received $248,791 in grants from Guilford County, $373,000 from the city of Greensboro and $275,000 from the One NC Fund. A number of organizations, including the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance and the N.C. Department of Commerce, assisted in the transaction.

MACON, GA. — Keystone Automotive has signed a lease with Rooker for 22,000 square feet in the 100,000-square-foot I-16/Ocmulgee East Industrial Park in Macon. The property is a joint venture between Rooker and the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Development Authority. Features include 28-foot ceilings and ESFR sprinklers. Murphy Taylor & Ellis' Albert Edge represented the tenant. Bilijack Bell of Wilson, Hull & Neal represented the landlord.
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Football Fanatics has signed a lease with First Winthrop for a 553,151-square-foot property in Jacksonville. The space is located at 5233 Commonwealth Ave. Colliers Dickinson's Guy Preston represented the tenant in the transaction. BALTIMORE, MD. —Healthcare Trust of America has signed a purchase agreement with an undisclosed party for the 101,400-square-foot Triad Technology Center. The buyer will purchase the property, located on the Johns Hopkins University Bayview Medical Center Research Campus in Baltimore, for $29.25 million. The space is fully leased to the federal government and houses the National Institute on Aging's Intramural Research Program, the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the National Human Genome Research Institute.
KENNESAW, GA. — Atlanta-based Choate Construction Co. is eyeing a spring completion of a $16.5 million soccer stadium on the campus of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw. Features include locker rooms, administrative offices and stadium seating for 8,300 spectators. The property, which was designed by the architecture firm Rossetti, is part of the second phase of the university's Sports & Recreation Park, an 88-acre project that will feature additional soccer fields, a rugby field and hiking trails. The Atlanta Beat, a women's professional soccer team is expected to lease the stadium this spring.
MIAMI — Alex Zylberglait and Ryan Shaw of Marcus & Millichap's Miami office have brokered the $3.75 million sale of Square One Center between two private parties. The 17,600-square-foot medical office building is located at 20880 W. Dixie Highway in Miami. Square One was built in 1999 and houses numerous NNN-leased medical tenants.
DULUTH, GA. — NCR Corp. has signed a lease renewal for 187,298 square feet and an expansion of 64,198 square feet with Satellite Realty Holdings. The deal extends NCR's original office lease by 6 years; the new lease will expire in 10 years and 9 months. The space is located at 2651 Satellite Blvd. in Duluth. AVE MARIA, FLA. — Fort Myers, Fla.-based J.L. Wallace is planning a groundbreaking for the 38,107-square-foot Tom Golisano Field House on the campus of Ave Maria University in Ave Maria. The property will include an NCAA-regulation basketball court, training and weight rooms, dressing rooms, offices, and a conference room. Jason P. Tramonte Architect designed the project.
SEBRING, FLA. — Fort Myers, Fla.-based Stevens Construction has broken ground on the 33,636-square-foot Bud and Donna Somers Hospice House and Resource Center at 1110 Hammock Road in Sebring. The 16-bed facility is being built for Good Shepherd Hospice. Features include a children's recreation area, a kitchen, a chapel and a library. Delivery is expected early next year.
ORLANDO AND LONGWOOD, FLA. — Michael Heidrich of NAI Realvest has brokered the sale of two industrial properties worth $1.78 million. Miami-based Conquistador Realty Holdings sold a 32,000-square-foot property, located at 3941 Bryn Mawr St. in Orlando, to Overland Holding Corp. of Altamonte Springs, Fla., for $1.3 million. Joe Ardolino of RealPro Group represented the buyer. In the second transaction, Ferguson Enterprises of Newport News, Va., sold a 5,250-square-foot building at 370 North St. in Longwood to Structural Contractors South for $480,000.
