RICHMOND, VA. — The 46-unit Pine Court Apartments, located on the edge of the Virginia Commonwealth University campus in Richmond, has received a $3.57 million loan. The 10-year loan carries a 30-year amortization and a 5.79 percent interest rate. Walker & Dunlop secured the financing.
NORCROSS, GA. — The construction firm CHOATE has completed a 30,000-square-foot office building for Atlanta-based Corus360 at 130 Technology Parkway in Norcross. Designed by Baker Barrios and veenendaalcave, the property has been built to achieve LEED Gold certification. Green features include sensor lighting, water-efficient fixtures and a white roof built to absorb sunrays. The property will house Corus360’s operations and a LEED data center.
CANTON, GA. — Dominium Development and Acquisition has purchased the 212-uint Canterbury Ridge Apartments from a private party for an undisclosed price. Originally constructed in 1999, the affordable housing complex is located at 101 Canterbury Ridge Parkway in Canton.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Benning Garden LP has sold the 45-unit Benning Gardens Apartments to an undisclosed party for $2.3 million. The property is located at 4951 G. St. SE in Washington. Ari Firoozabadi of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller in the transaction.
TAMPA, FLA. — Franklin Property & Development Group has purchased a 57,886-square-foot office from Verizon in a $2.6 million sale-leaseback. Located at 10402 N. 56th St. in Tampa, the property will be occupied by Verizon for the next 15 months. WASHINGTON, D.C. — Washington-based Donohoe Construction Co. has completed two hotels in the Washington area. The firm finished construction on the 176-unit Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse, an extended-stay property in Arlington, Va. The 10-story hotel features meeting rooms, an indoor pool and 9,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Donohoe also finished the 216-unit Hilton Garden Inn, located on Waverly Street in Bethesda, Md. The property, owned by Bethesda Hotel Associates, includes a fitness center, a restaurant and meeting facilities.
KENNESAW, GA. — Holder Construction has completed the 192-unit Embassy Suites Atlanta – Kennesaw Town Center at 620 Chastain Rd. in Kennesaw. The property is the brand’s first Design Option III prototype built in Georgia and features 7,000 square feet of meeting space, a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and a fitness center. Richard Rauh & Associates of Atlanta designed the hotel, and Atlanta-based GS Hospitality will manage the property.
MARION, ARK. — Financial Federal has secured a $13.98 million loan for Angelo’s Grove Apartments. The 256-unit property is located at 1120 L. H. Polk Rd. in Marion. An agency lender financed the transaction.
ATLANTA — Vince Hughes of Q10|iCap’s Atlanta office has arranged a $4.47 million loan for a retail refinance project. The 33,550-square-foot property is located in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood in Atlanta. The 9-year loan carries a 6.25 percent interest rate and a 25-year amortization schedule. A life insurance company provided funding for the loan.
