SARASOTA, FLA. — Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America has tapped Fort Myers, Fla.-based Stevens Construction for renovations and expansion of the Premier Surgery Center of Sarasota. The property is located at 983 Beneva Rd. Stevens will renovate 20 rooms and construct two surgery recovery rooms at the hospital. Completion is slated for late this year.

ORLANDO, FLA. — Atlanta-based Grove Street Partners has sold two hotels, located adjacent to Aquatica Waterpark at Sea World Orlando, to Richmond, Va.-based Apple REIT Nine for an undisclosed amount. Grove Street developed the 200-unit SpringHill Suites and the 200-unit Fairfield Inn & Suites in a joint venture with Ed Lee LLC. The hotels share a pool, a fitness center and a restaurant.
HYATTSVILLE, MD. — Washington, D.C.-based Urban Investment Partners and its Netherlands-based partner Stonebridge Investments have purchased the 94-unit Courtyard Park Apartments from CYP for $4.1 million. The sellers made the purchase on behalf of Washington Residential Fund III. The property, located at 4201-4213 Oglethorpe St. in Hyattsville, is 97 percent occupied. Bethesda, Md.-based BMC Property Group brokered the transaction.
SOUTH CAROLINA AND NORTH CAROLINA — Developers Diversified Realty has borrowed $16.9 million in financing for two Wal-Mart Supercenters located in Greenville, S.C., and Winston-Salem, N.C. An undisclosed life insurance company financed the two mortgages. Richard Williams and Alex Yates of Medalist Capital’s Charlotte, N.C., office secured the loan.
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Faro Services of Ohio has signed a lease for 50,000 square feet of warehouse space. The property is located at 330 Deming Way in Charleston. Michael Ferrer and Thomas Buist of Charleston-based Grubb & Ellis|Barkley Fraser represented the undisclosed landlord.
ORLANDO, FLA. — Dallas-based Southern Electric Supply Co., doing business as Rexel, has re-leased 75,580 square feet of warehouse space from Columbus, Ohio-based 33rd Street Properties. Located at 4658 and 4680 L.B. McLeod Rd. in Orlando, the property is part of the 33rd Street Industrial Center. Winter Park, Fla.-based York Property Co.’s Jeff York represented the tenant, and Michael Heidrich of NAI Realvest’s Maitland, Fla., office represented the owner.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Kaiser Permanente has signed a lease with Louis Dreyfus Property Group and Fisher Brothers for more than 200,000 square feet of space in the 700 Second Street at Station Place office building in Washington. Designed to LEED Silver standards, the building is 60 percent preleased. The 507,273-square-foot 700 Second Street is the third phase of the 1.6-million-square-foot Station Place office complex. ATLANTA — The law firm Sutherland Asbill & Brennan has signed a lease renewal with Atlanta-based Jamestown Properties for 240,906 square feet of office space at 999 Peachtree. Both parties have agreed to a lease term that will expire in 2020. Sutherland Asbill & Brennan has been a tenant at 999 Peachtree since 1988. The 28-story property is located at the intersection of Peachtree and 10th streets in Atlanta.
RICHMOND, VA. — Richmond-based MGT Construction has completed two multifamily projects in Richmond. MGT built the 79-unit Paper Company Apartments, located at 203 Hull St. The property also includes 12,000 square feet of office space. The firm also worked on the 28-unit Shockoe Lofts, located at 2010 E. Main St. Shockoe includes 4,000 square feet of retail space.
BONITA SPRINGS, FLA. — Solovey Fountains Group has sold a 5,273-square-foot building to 3364 Woods Edge LLC for $1.22 million. The office property is located at 3364 Woods Edge Circle in Bonita Springs. Craig Timmins of Naples, Fla.-based Investment Properties Corp. brokered the sale.
