GEORGIA — Field Turf USA has signed a lease expansion with Springs Global U.S. for 224,000 square feet of industrial space. The property is located at 175 N. Industrial Blvd. in Calhoun, Ga. John Phelps of Grubb & Ellis’ Atlanta office represented both parties in the transaction. Phelps also represented Sonoco Products Co. in its 70,000-square-foot lease from First Street Associates. Sonoco will occupy warehouse space at 4099 Old Dixie Highway in Georgia.

ATLANTA — McLendon-Jones Enterprises has sold the 132,000-square-foot Atlanta Jobs Corps Center to Aroostook Property Management for an undisclosed price. Located at 239 W. Lake Ave. in Atlanta, the property was built in 1951 as an apartment complex and is now leased as an office building by the federal government. Jon Cunha and Michael Bull of Atlanta-based Bull Realty brokered the sale.

BEL AIR, MD. — SECU has purchased land for a 4,500-square-foot bank branch from Park Centre/Plumtree LLC for $1.85 million. The branch will be built in the Park Centre development, which is located at the intersection of Plumtree Road and Route 24 in Bel Air. The new bank branch will open early next year. Chris Bennett of Columbia, Md.-based Manekin represented SECU, and the firm’s Joe Bradley represented the seller.

GEORGIA — Atlanta-based Batson-Cook Co. is constructing two healthcare projects totaling $25.6 million for Northside Hospital. The firm will add 52,800 square feet to the Northside Hospital–Forsyth Surgery Center, located on Northside Forsyth Drive in Cumming, Ga. The hospital will remain open while the $17 million project is being completed. Batson-Cook has also broken ground on a 59,500-square-foot medical office building on Northside’s Cherokee campus, located at 201 Hospital Rd. in Canton, Ga. The office, which is scheduled for completion next January, will include an imaging suite with MRI facilities.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-based Tri-Tech has purchased an 18,380-square-foot warehouse from Peachtree LLC for an undisclosed amount. The property, which is located at 200 Peachtree Rd. in Charlotte, will serve as Tri-Tech’s new home. Charlotte-based Keystone Partners’ Brad Cherry and Pete Pittroff represented the seller. Kent Lamm of Charlotte-based Percival McGuire Commercial Real Estate represented Tri-Tech.

HANOVER, MD. — CSG Partners has sold a 12,332-square-foot office building to Agency Properties for $2.4 million. The property is located at 7450 Coca Cola Dr. in Hanover. Agency Holding Co. will occupy the building, moving more than 70 employees from its existing location. Colliers Pinkard’s Charlie Fenwick and Andrew Smith represented CSG, and MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services’ Antony Gross represented the buyer.
