The property is located on Cahaba Valley Road in Pelham. Brad Moffatt and Stuart Brock of Birmingham, Ala.-based EGS Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord.

HYATTSVILLE, MD. — Equity Residential has opened its latest luxury apartment property, Mosaic at Metro, a transit-oriented development located at 6210 Belcrest Rd. in Hyattsville. The complex, which sits next to a Metro station, is more than 70 percent leased. Amenities include a game room, business and fitness centers and swimming pools.
COLUMBIA, MD. — NorthMarq Capital has arranged a $51.4 million loan for the 531-unit Columbia Town Center. Located in Columbia, the multifamily property is owned by a fund controlled by ING Clarion Partners. AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance, a Fannie Mae DUS lender, financed the 10-year loan. Frank Relihan, Kenneth Gentzel, and Gary McGlynn of NorthMarq Capital’s Washington, D.C., office arranged the loan.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Fort Lauderdale-based Miller Construction Co. has completed a 71,600-square-foot headquarters building for WPLG-TV, an ABC affiliate known locally as Channel 10. The facility is located on Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The property includes two studios, a satellite tower and administrative and data storage areas. The station can now broadcast from its studio and the field in digital high definition.
WYTHEVILLE, VA. — Roanoke, Va.-based Tri-Strength has purchased a 72-room Econo Lodge in Wytheville from affiliates of Allen Management for an undisclosed amount. Tri-Strength is planning to renovate the hotel before rebranding it as a Knights Inn. Ed James, David Mumford and Justin Pinkard of Mumford Co. represented the seller.
NASHVILLE, TENN. — Alcoa Electrical & Electronic Solutions has sold a 50,700-square-foot warehouse to D&P Lights & Wiring Systems for $1.3 million. The property is located at 900 N. 63rd Ave. in Nashville. David McGahren, Doug Howard and John Ward of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker’s Nashville office represented the seller.
CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Southeastern Petroleum and its majority stakeholder, Pesco-Beam Environmental Solutions, have broken ground on a $30 million facility in Chester County. The project has created 24 new jobs. Southeastern Petroleum manufactures environmentally friendly base oils used in lubrication production and estimates an annual output of 10 million gallons from the new property. Plans also call for a research and development center for Pesco-Beam.
ELKRIDGE, MD. — Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel has sold a 141,600-square-foot warehouse to Cabot Properties for $8.7 million. The property, which is fully leased, is located in the Meadowridge Business Park at 6675 Business Parkway in Elkridge. Gerry Trainor and Mark Glagola of Transwestern’s Washington, D.C., office represented the seller.
LAKELAND, FLA. — Orlando, Fla.-based Construct Two Group has completed its renovation and expansion of the Coleman-Bush Building, upgrading 20,328 square feet and expanding 2,420 square feet of space. The $1.8 million project included constructing larger meeting rooms, more spacious restrooms and offices for Lakeland’s Code Enforcement and Housing departments. The government property is located on Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive in Lakeland. The local firm Swilley Curtis Mundy Hannicutt Associates Architects designed the project.
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLA. — Geoffrey Harris of Mark One Capital’s Phoenix office and Farhan Kabani of the firm’s Dallas office have secured a $1.5 million loan for the purchase of a Macaroni Grill Restaurant. The 7,179-square-foot property is located at 844 W. S.R. 436 in Altamonte Springs. A portfolio lender provided financing for the 5-year loan. The loan carries a 6.5 percent interest rate and a 25-year amortization.
