BRADENTON, FLA. — CORE Construction of Florida has completed the 109-unit Lake House at Waters Edge assisted living facility in Bradenton. Developed by Florida Christian Homes Senior Housing Inc. West Bradenton, the $14 million property includes a more than 200-seat restaurant. Lake House encompasses one and two-bedroom units ranging from 600 square feet to 1,100 square feet.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. — Global Supply Solutions has leased 40,000 square feet of office and warehouse space at 1569 Diamond Springs Rd. in Virginia Beach. The firm is expanding from a previous 12,400-square-foot lease. John Lee of Virginia Beach, Va.-based John Lee & Associates represented the landlord, and Chip Worley of Norfolk, Va.-based Harvey Lindsay Commercial represented the tenant.
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. — Arlington, Va.-based Bonaventure Realty Group has started construction on The Cascades, a mixed-use development encompassing 226 apartments and 22,000 square feet of retail space. The property will be located at the intersection of Centerville Turnpike and Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach. Amenities include a clubhouse, a swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center and a running trail. Completion is expected this December.
PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. — The Department of the Navy ¬– Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast has enlisted St. Louis-based Walton Construction Co. to add a fourth military barracks to its $78.4 million Marine Corps. Recruiting Depot project. The Parris Island development now includes four, three-story barracks facilities, a headquarters training complex, a physical training circuit and a central mechanical plant. The original project will be complete by October 2010, with the new addition delivering in April 2011.
NASHVILLE, TENN. — Developers Diversified Realty Corp. has sold the 167,795-square-foot Marketplace shopping center to Chicago-based Monroe Acquisition Partners for an undisclosed amount. Located at the intersection of Charlotte Pike and River Road in Nashville, the property is anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse and shadow-anchored by Wal-Mart Supercenter. Robert Mahoney and Christian Williams of CB Richard Ellis’ Oak Brook, Ill., office represented the seller.
MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. — Brad Cox of Thomas D. Wood & Co.’s Sarasota, Fla., office has arranged a $1.55 million loan for the 50-unit Crystal Coast Apartments, located at 2109 Mayberry Loop in Morehead City. The 10-year loan is part of the Fannie Mae Immediate Delivery Loan Program. The loan carries a 5.94 percent interest rate and a 30-year amortization.
WINTER GARDEN, FLA. — Clancy & Theys Construction Co.’s Orlando, Fla., office has completed the $2.6 million Braddock Park Athletic Complex for the city of Winter Park. Spread across 20 acres at 13460 Lake Butler Blvd. in Winter Park, the complex includes a 1,200-square-foot concessions building, a 650-square-foot maintenance building, sports fields and a parking lot. Orlando-based Harvard Jolly designed the project.
LOUISVILLE, KY. — AAA East Central has sold its 33,000-square-foot former headquarters to physicians of the Neurosurgical Institute of Kentucky for $2.26 million. The property is located in the Gateway to the Louisville Medical Community at 435 E. Broadway in Louisville. The buyer will turn the space into a medical office building fit for its expanding practice. John Hoagland and Tim Brown of Louisville-based Hoagland Commercial Realtors brokered the sale.
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLA. — Fort Myers, Fla.-based Stevens Construction has begun its renovation of the 7,500-square-foot Twelve Oaks Medical Office building. After the project is complete, the property, located at 6748 Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills, will house an orthopedic medical practice. Stevens’ duties include interior demolition, full reconstruction and the installation of a new sprinkler system. Delivery is expected this fall.
GERMANTOWN, MD. — Rockville, Md.-based Fisher BioServices has signed a 7-year lease with Minkoff Development Corp. for 20,249 square feet of space in the former MiddleBrook Pharmaceuticals building. The 53,054-square-foot property is located in the Seneca Medows Corporate Center at 20439 Seneca Meadows Parkway in Germantown. Henry Bernstein and Matt Brady of Scheer Partners negotiated a release of MiddleBrook’s current lease so Fischer could move into the building on October 1.
