DELRAY BEACH, PALM BEACH AND BOYNTON BEACH, FLA. — Blue Bell, Pa.-based United Stor-All Centers has purchased a more than 370,000-square-foot portfolio of self-storage facilities from Safe & Secure Self Storage for $30.5 million. The portfolio includes the 147,000-square-foot Safe & Secure Delray Beach, located at 2512 N. Federal Highway in Delray Beach, the 134,000-square-foot Safe & Secure Royal Palm Beach, located at 8970 Belvedere Rd. in Palm Beach, and the 92,000-square-foot Safe & Secure Boynton Beach, located at 3010 S. Congress Ave. in Boynton Beach. Berger Commercial Realty Corp.’s Lloyd Berger, Gordon Lunt and Reese Stigliano represented the seller.

MAITLAND, FLA. — Liberty Property Trust will break ground next month on the 220,000-square-foot Maitland Summit Park III, located in Maitland Summit Park in Maitland, with delivery expected in November of next year. The facility will be built to Gold LEED standards and will feature waterless urinals, low-flow shower heads, high-performance glass and low-emission paints. Milwaukee-based Metavante Corp. will occupy 107,000 square feet of the building upon completion.

GOODLETTSVILLE, TENN. — Nashville, Tenn.-based Baron + Dowdle Construction is developing a 58,000-square-foot facility, located at 800 S. Cartwright St. in Goodlettsville, for the motor coach manufacturer Prevost. The 20-acre development will feature a large conference room, locker rooms, a customer lounge and 13,000 square feet of office space. Landmark Realty is assisting with construction, Littlejohn Engineering is responsible for site engineering and TLP Architects designed the building. The facility will deliver summer 2009.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Keith Moore and Ben Brantley of CB Richard Ellis’ Columbia office have brokered Dovetail Development’s purchase of 132 acres from an undisclosed seller for $2.88 million. The acreage, located on Shop Road in Columbia, will be the site of Shop Grove Commerce Park. The 75-acre initial phase of the industrial facility will break ground early next year.

ALBANY, GA. — SAGU LLC has opened a 70-room County Inn & Suites, located at 2809 Nottingham Way in Albany. The building, which marks the first Country Inn & Suites in Albany, features an indoor heated pool, a hot tub, a sauna and an exercise room. Rooms include free wireless Internet, a microwave and a refrigerator. Atlanta-based Hotel Equities will manage the hotel.

FORT VALLEY, GA. — Art Barry of Macon, Ga.-based Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry has brokered JFS Properties’ sale of the 350,000-square-foot former Dan River Textile facility to Fort Valley-based Blue Bird Body Co. for $1.56 million. Located on Highway 341 in Fort Valley, the facility will house Bluebird’s school bus parts fabrication operation, creating several hundred new jobs. The company plans on improving the buildings, with an expected production date of next January.

SAVANNAH, GA. — AMB Property Corp. has leased 150,000 square feet in the 347,000-square-foot AMB Morgan Business Center Building 100 to Dorel Juvenile Group. Located near the Port of Savannah, Building 100, which was constructed to Silver LEED certifications, is the first building in the master-planned 3 million-square-foot AMB Morgan Business Center. David Sink of Neely Dales in Savannah and Lloyd Cooper of Cushman & Wakefield’s Montreal office represented Dorel.

HIALEAH, FLA. — Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Innovative Stone, a global supplier of natural stone for commercial and residential uses, has leased a 103,000-square-foot warehouse, located at 725 S.E. 9th Ct. in Hialeah, from Boston-based AEW. Americas Realty represented the landlord, and Edward Redlich, Christopher Spear and Gian Carlo Alonso of ComReal Miami represented Innovative Stone. Further terms of the loan were not announced.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA. — Helman Hurley Charvat Peacock/Architects has been tapped to design an 11-story, 300-unit Embassy Suites Hotel in Lake Buena Vista for Sierra Land Group. Hotel amenities include an atrium restaurant, a lounge in the lobby, convention space and a resort-style pool. The hotel will be ready for business at the end of next year.
