JENSEN BEACH, FLA. — Lakeland, Fla.-based Odyssey Diversified Properties, in association with Century Retail, has purchased the 114,000-square-foot Ocean Breeze Plaza from Glenmorris LLC for $14.7 million. Century Retail will renovate the Publix-anchored center located on Jensen Beach Boulevard in Jensen Beach, expanding the grocery store from 36,464 square feet to 54,000 square feet. Boyd Bradfield of Stuart, Fla.-based Southcoast brokered the sale.

OCOEE, FLA. — Fountains West, the 65,600-square-foot shopping center located at West and Ocoee-Apopka roads in Ocoee, has added eight tenants and is planning for two more. Hair Cuttery, Island Glow Tanning Salon, First Class Cleaners, Takara Japanese Restaurant and Sushi, Modern Nail Salon, New China Restaurant, Pizza Hut and Subway have opened their doors at the center. Buildings for SunTrust Bank and Fifth Third Bank are in development on two outparcels.

BOWIE AND LANHAM, MD. — Andy Mayr of Lanham-based NAI Michael has helped broker two sales, totaling more than 60,000 square feet, for more than $7 million. He served as the only broker in Hope Real Estate’s purchase of a 28,800-square-foot warehouse located at 14201 Woodcliff Court in Bowie from Santos LLC for $4.61 million. The site will be occupied by Siler Star Gymnastics. Mayr also aided David Michael and Lance Schwarz of NAI Michael in brokering Nutrition Inc.’s purchase of an 18,000-square-foot warehouse from Tri-Partners for $2.77 million. The building, located on 2.25 acres in Lanham, will serve Nutrition Inc.’s Maryland contacts.

COCONUT CREEK, FLA. — Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based Stiles Construction Co. has commenced construction on Junior Achievement World’s 59,500-square-foot Huizenga Center, located on Broward College’s north campus in Coconut Creek. The center, which will be completed next year, will help Junior Achievement of South Florida educate 50,000 K-12 students a year in economic matters. The property will serve as the organization’s headquarters, house two new programs, JA BizTown and JA Finance Park, and include training and meeting space.

BRYAN COUNTY, GA. — A joint venture among Washington, D.C.-based Perseus Realty Partners, Duluth, Ga.-based TPA Realty Services and Philadelphia-based Resource Real Estate Partners is developing the 600,000-square-foot Interstate Center II, located at the corner of Interstate 16 and Highway 280 in Bryan County, 20 miles outside the port of Savannah. Interstate Center II, the first phase in a 505-acre industrial park, sits on 54.5 acres and will deliver within 9 months.

KISSIMMEE, FLA. — The $25 million, 103,000-square-foot Village Shops at Bellalago, located on Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, has added a host of tenants. A 46,031-square-foot Publix and a Sonoma Coffee has opened, and McDonald’s, Walgreens, Fifth/Third Bank and Jazzy Nail Spa and Boutique will all open in the next few weeks. Leases for a hair salon, a sub sandwich shop, a chiropractor and a national pizza chain are still pending.

LAKE WORTH, FLA. — PJM Management has purchased a 60,000-square-foot warehouse, located at 6591 S. Military Trail in Lake Worth, from Schumacker/Carter for $5 million. As the sole brokers in the transaction, Scott O’Donnell and Dominic Montazemi of the Investment Properties Group of CB Richard Ellis in Boca Raton, Fla., represented the seller.

ORLANDO, FLA. — PDMG Holdings recently sold its 25,300-square-foot warehouse, located at 4351 35th St. in Orlando, to Altier Properties for $2.17 million. Richard Davis and Nick Sands of Grubb & Ellis|Commercial Florida’s Orlando office represented the seller, and the buyer was represented by Wilson McDowell of Colliers Arnold’s Orlando branch.

TAMPA, FLA. — Hardin Construction Co. will design and construct the 7,500-square-foot Tampa International Airport IT Operations & Data Center at the Tampa airport for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority. When complete in the fall of 2009, the property will serve as the main communications hub and house server and monitoring rooms, administrative offices, work and training spaces and a conference room. Tampa-based Urban Studio Architects will provide design services. Construction is planned to start in February 2009.
