FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Newk’s Eatery, a Mississippi-based fast casual restaurant chain, will open seven new locations in the Fort Worth area. Specific sites have not yet been chosen and a timeline for delivery of the new units has not yet been established. The company operates more than 100 locations, which typically measure anywhere between 3,800 to 4,300 square feet, throughout the country.

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — InvenTrust Properties Corp., an Illinois-based investment firm, has acquired The Parke, a 404,000-square-foot retail power center located in the Austin metro of Cedar Park for approximately $112.2 million. The Whole Foods-anchored center is home to tenants such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, DSW, Petco and Ulta Beauty. The seller was not disclosed.

HOUSTON — Lincoln Property Co. has purchased Greenspoint Place, a 36-acre, 2.1 million-square-foot office campus located at 16945 Northchase Drive in Houston. Developed by Hines, the property consists of six office buildings with three connecting retail centers. Warren Hitchcock and Bill Haley of NorthMarq Capital’s Houston office arranged an undisclosed amount of acquisition financing for the buyer.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS — The Trade Group, a Carrollton, Texas-based provider of products and services for trade shows, will relocate its global headquarters to a 200,000-square-foot space in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro of Grapevine. The company expects to move into its new office space in late 2018 or early 2019. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Friday, June 8 at the new location, 2060 Enchanted Way.

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Addison, Texas-based S2 Capital LLC and partner Pennybacker Capital have acquired Mark at 2600, a 250-unit multifamily property in Arlington. Units at the garden-style community range in size from 718 to 1,488 square feet. Mark Brandenburg of JLL arranged acquisition financing through LegacyTexas Bank on behalf of the buyers

SAN ANTONIO — NAI Partners has arranged the sale of a 41,616-square-foot medical office building located at 8307 Gault Lane in San Antonio. Joshua Swank of NAI represented the seller, a private partnership, in the transaction and procured the buyer, a group of private investors. Other terms of sale were not released.

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — Servitas and Texas A&M University have completed Park West, a 50-acre, 3,406-bed student housing property located at 503 George Bush Drive W in College Station. Construction on the 2.2 million-square-foot property, which is the largest student housing development in the country, began in August 2015 and was completed a week ahead of schedule. Amenities include a coffee shop, volleyball court, jogging trail, game rooms and a convenience store. Servitas will manage the property. Weitz served as general contractor on the project.

DENTON, TEXAS — Kansas City-based EPC Real Estate Group will build The Village at Rayzor Ranch, a 292-unit apartment community situated on an 11–acre parcel at Rayzor Ranch Town Center in Denton. The property will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom units and amenities such as a resort-style pool, outdoor grilling areas, a fitness center and a dog park. EPC expects to break ground on the property in early 2018. Construction of a 7,500-square-foot Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and a Zoe’s Kitchen is also scheduled to begin later this year at Rayzor Ranch, with mid-2018 the target opening date.

HOUSTON — CBRE has negotiated a 105,026-square-foot office lease renewal on behalf of law firm Porter Hodges LLP at 1000 Main St. in downtown Houston. Charles Gordon, Brandon Clarke, Paul Penland and Ryan Roth of CBRE represented Porter Hodges in the lease negotiations. Wade Bowlin of PM Realty Group represented the landlord, 1000 Main LLC. Other tenants housed in the 837,161-square-foot building include Shell, UBS and Sanchez Energy.
