SAN ANTONIO — MBP Capital has acquired Honey Hill Apartments, a multifamily asset located in San Antonio’s Medical District, for an undisclosed price. The company has hired Dallas-based Catalyst Multifamily to handle the day-to-day property management of the 346-unit asset. MBP Capital plans to invest $3 million in capital improvements, including full interior renovations, full exterior paint, new patio and balcony fencing, outdoor amenities, remodeled clubhouse and extensive landscaping upgrades. MBP Capital finished 2016 with more than $55 million of transactions in the fourth quarter. The company acquired the 96-unit Bradfield Place in Garland, Texas; the 201-unit Riverbend Village in Arlington, Texas; and sold the 160-unit The Monterey Apartments in Irving.

SAN ANTONIO, WACO AND CONROE, TEXAS, AND INDIANAPOLIS — KeyBank Real Estate Capital has provided a total of $43.2 million in financing to Harmony Housing, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. KeyBank provided $24.4 million through an existing Fannie Mae master credit facility for Villas at Costa Brava in San Antonio and Park View at Beech Grove in Indianapolis. Additionally, the firm provided $18.8 million through FHA’s 223(f) mortgage insurance program for Brazos Village Apartments in Waco and Park Village Apartments in Conroe. The four affordable housing properties total 698 units. John Gilmore IV and Jeff Rodman of KeyBank arranged the financing for the borrower.
HOUSTON — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Memorial Mini Storage, a self-storage facility located at 1101 Tully Road in Houston. Bargain Storage acquired the 519-unit property for an undisclosed price. Dave Knobler and Charles LeClaire of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and secured the buyer in the deal.
SAN MARCOS AND BURNET, TEXAS — Retail Solutions has arranged the sales of two retail properties located in the greater Austin area. In the first transaction, Popeye’s Fried Chicken purchased a retail property at StoneCreek Crossing in San Marcos. Nomoland Co. sold the property for an undisclosed price. Dave Burggraaf of Retail Solutions represented the buyer, and Jimbo Cotton of McAllister & Associates represented the seller in the deal. In the second deal, Isabel Reid acquired a 2,400-square-foot retail property located at 109 E. Jackson St. in Burnet. 7-Eleven Inc. sold the property for an undisclosed price. Preston Wolfe of Retail Solutions represented the seller, while Jane Hurst of Broker’s Realty represented the buyer in the transaction.
ADDISON, TEXAS — Stream Realty Partners has arranged the sale of Midway Office Park, an office property located at 4275 Kellway Circle and 16160 Midway Road in Addison. PRE Management sold the 102,855-square-foot property for an undisclosed sum. Dallas Metrocare anchors the property. Jamie Jennings, James Mantzuranis, Caitlin Clinton and Chase Lopez of Stream Realty represented the seller in the transaction. The name of the buyer was not released.
BUDA, TEXAS — REOC Austin has arranged the acquisition of a manufacturing facility located at 150 Precision Drive in Buda. Heaven Hill Brands, dba Deep Eddy Vodka, purchased the 194,574-square-foot facility from Lone Star CCC for an undisclosed price. The new property is the second location for the Austin-based spirits company. Mark Milstead of REOC Austin represented the buyer, while Greg Marberry of CBRE represented the seller in the deal.
MCALLEN, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Maple Court Apartments, a multifamily property located at 1400 N. 16th St. in McAllen. Built in 1973, the property features 46 apartments in four buildings, a central courtyard, covered parking and an on-site laundry room. Mike Moffitt Jr. and William Stover Jr. of Marcus & Millichap’s Austin office represented the seller, a limited liability company, and secured the buyer, a partnership. The acquisition price was not released.
DALLAS — NAI Robert Lynn has arranged the sale of an industrial property located at 119 Regal Row in Dallas. Allied Interiors acquired the 233,000-square-foot warehouse facility for an undisclosed sum. Robert Blankinship and Matt Elliott of NAI Robert Lynn handled the transaction. The name of the seller was not released.
ALTUS, OKLA. — Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. has leased 59,318 square feet of retail space within Northtown Center, located at 1700 N. Main St. in Altus. The landlord is Northtown Altus LLC. Mark Inman and Stuart Graham of CBRE’s Oklahoma City office represented the tenant in the deal.
TOMBALL, TEXAS — Santikos Entertainment is developing Northpointe Shopping Center, an entertainment-anchored retail center located at the northeast corner of Windsor Pointe Drive and State Highway 249 in Tomball. Anchored by the existing Santikos Silverado 19, a multi-screen cinema, the center will feature 90,000 square feet of junior anchor and shop space, as well as pad sites. In addition to the cinema, the site currently includes two restaurants on pad sites: Texas Roadhouse and Bahama Bucks. Randy Hopper and Edward Heap of The Weitzman Group are handling leasing for the project, which is scheduled for delivery in 2018.
