HOUSTON — Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) has brokered Peloton Capital Partners’ purchase of a five office building portfolio in west Houston, as well as arranged acquisition financing and joint venture equity for Peloton. Peloton purchased the portfolio, totaling 347,272 square feet, with the help of HFF’s fixed-rate financing through NexBank and joint venture equity through an Austin-based private equity firm. Martin Hogan and Dan Miller of HFF represented the seller, and HFF’s Steve Heldenfels represented Peloton in arranging financing and joint venture equity. The 78 percent occupied office portfolio includes: 1250 Wood Branch Park Dr. 11931 Wickchester Ln. 10200 Richmond Ave. 2950 and 3030 S. Gessner Rd.

HOUSTON — Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Services has brokered the sale of Corporate Plaza, a 112,472-square-foot office building at 7001 Corporate Dr. in Houston. The building had a listed sales price of $2.5 million. David Ching and Edward Benton of Marcus & Millichap’s Houston office represented the seller, a bank/financial institution, in the transaction.
ARLINGTON — Andrews-Dillingham Properties Ltd. has acquired a 10,500-square-foot office building located at 501 W. Main St. in downtown Arlington. AUSTIN — Wind Energy Transmission Texas (WETT), a joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management and Isolux Corsan Concesiones, has finalized its $500 million construction loan with a consortium of financial institutions to build five substations and 378 miles of transmission lines in west Texas. The transmission lines will bring renewable wind energy from west Texas to the metropolitan areas throughout Texas. WETT was awarded a contract to build the transmission lines and substations by the Public Utility Commission of Texas as part of the Texas Legislature’s Competitive Renewable Energy Zone project. The construction is set to be complete in 2013.
TOMBALL — Weingarten Realty has awarded Cadence McShane Construction Co. the construction assignment to complete a series of new retail stores and expanded sitework in the Tomball Marketplace Shopping Center at the intersection of SH 249 and FM 2920 in Tomball. Cadence McShane’s assignment includes the comprehensive infrastructure for a new Kohl’s and the construction of two additional retail facilities. These include a 13,200-square-foot facility with a tiltwall exterior and glass storefronts and a 25,000-square-foot facility for a national retailer. These two developments are projected to be complete this October. Weingarten Realty has also awarded Houston-based CDA Architects to provide architectural services for the development.
HOUSTON — The Finial Group has been selected to provide leasing services for 3120 Southwest Freeway, a six-story, 90,000-square-foot office building in the Greenway Plaza submarket of Houston. Finial Group’s Keith Bilski, Neil Martin and Ben Debayle will handle the project’s leasing services.
