SCHERTZ, TEXAS — CBRE has arranged the sale of a 153,000-square-foot industrial portfolio in the northeastern San Antonio suburb of Schertz. The portfolio consists of two properties spanning 41,000 and 112,000 square feet that were respectively built in 2006 and 2017 and were fully leased at the time of sale. Eliza Bachhuber, Randy Baird, Ryan Thornton, Jonathan Bryan and Nathan Wynne of CBRE represented the seller, Marbella Interests, in the transaction. The buyer and sales price were not disclosed.

HOUSTON — Partners, the investment and brokerage firm formerly known as NAI Partners, has negotiated the sale of a 96,011-square-foot cold storage facility in Houston. Cary Latham and Wyatt Huff of Partners represented the buyer, Harbor Capital LLC, in the transaction. Stephen Schneidau of Cushman & Wakefield, along with independent broker Bill Schneidau, represented the seller, Mendware LLC.

SAN ANTONIO — Dallas-based investment firm Big Sky Medical Real Estate has acquired Alamo Quarry Center, a 38,370-square-foot healthcare property located at 250 E. Basse Road in San Antonio. Methodist Healthcare anchors the property, which was 93 percent occupied at the time of sale. Travis Ives, Gino Lollio, Todd Mills, Carrie Caesar, Hunter Mills and Travis Crow of Cushman & Wakefield brokered the deal on behalf of the seller, Dallas-based Mohr Capital. The sales price was not disclosed.

HOUSTON — American Family Care, which provides urgent care and walk-in healthcare services, has signed a quartet of leases totaling 12,600 square feet in the Houston area. The spaces are located in Sugar Land (2,700 square feet), Katy (2,800 square feet), Elyson (3,400 square feet) and Kingwood (3,700 square feet). John Frazier of Houston-based brokerage firm Baker Katz represented the tenant in all four sets of lease negotiations.

MAGNOLIA, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of Corporate Woods Storall, a 298-unit self-storage facility located in the northwestern Houston suburb of Magnolia. The facility spans 99,180 net rentable square feet. Dave Knobler and Charles LeClaire of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and procured the buyer in the transaction. Both parties were Texas-based limited liability companies that requested anonymity.

HOUSTON — Locally based investment firm David Z. Mafrige Interests (DZMI) has acquired World Houston Place, an office building in Houston that totals 216,889 square feet, according to LoopNet Inc. The eight-story building is located near George Bush Intercontinental Airport on the city’s north side. DZMI plans to upgrade the building’s common areas and add a fitness center and tenant lounge to the amenity package. The firm has hired Stream Realty Partners to lease the building.

ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap, has negotiated the sale of Parkwood Terrace, a 144-unit apartment complex located in the northern Austin suburb of Round Rock. Built in 2000, the property offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Jordan Featherston, Kent Myers and Will Balthrope of IPA represented the seller, Los Angeles-based Langdon Street Capital, and procured the buyer, The Medve Group, in the transaction.

KATY, TEXAS — Partners, the Houston-based investment and brokerage firm formerly known as NAI Partners, has purchased Mason Point Shopping Center, a 99,001-square-foot retail property located on the western outskirts of Houston in Katy. Charlie Strauss of JLL represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Origin Bank provided acquisition financing. The property was 90 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Maaco, CSDS Vinyl and Rosa’s Pizza.

HOUSTON — Academy Sports + Outdoors has opened a 50,000-square-foot store at 8715 W. Loop S in Houston. The location in the city’s historic Meyerland neighborhood marks the 33rd in the greater Houston area and 107th in Texas for the locally based athletic equipment and apparel retailer. Academy also plans to open 80 to 100 new stores nationwide over the next five years.

MCKINNEY, TEXAS — California-based investment firm AC Industrial Properties LLC has acquired Building B at Logistics Center at McKinney on the northern outskirts of Dallas. The 301,796-square-foot, rear-load building sits on 17 acres and features 32-foot clear heights, 130-foot truck court depths, 52 overhead doors, two drive-in doors and 190 parking spaces. Dustin Volz, Stephen Bailey, Dom Espinosa, Zach Riebe and Pauli Kerr of JLL represented the seller, a joint venture between Thor Equities and Morgan Stanley, in the transaction.
