COLMA, CALIF. – Office Depot has leased 14,446 square feet of space at the 280 Metro Center in Colma. The space was previously occupied by Magnolia Hi-Fi. Other tenants at the center include Bed, Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Home Depot Pro, Marshall’s, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy and Ulta. Office Depot was represented by Todd Oliver with Terranomics Retail Services. The center is owned by Kimco Realty Corporation.

ONTARIO, CALIF. – Sempermed USA and Googol Engine Tech have leased a total of 68,285 square feet of industrial space within Ontario’s Cobalt Business Center. The 111,890-square-foot industrial complex is located at 4051 Santa Ana Street and 710 Dupont Ave. Sempermed leased 37,490 square feet at 710 S. Dupont, while Googol leased 30,785 square feet at 4051 Santa Ana. Ruben Goodsell, Jeff Bellitti and Mike McCrary of Jones Lang LaSalle Los Angeles represented the landlord, Cobalt Industrial REIT III, in this transaction. Sempermed was represented by Barret Woods of Lee & Associates, and Googol was represented by Nancy Chen of Home Times Group.

TOLLESON, ARIZ. – Communication Test Design has signed an eight-year lease for 238,450 square feet at the Westside Business Park in Tolleson. The new space is located in Building 4 at 8602 W. Buckeye Road. It will absorb about 40 percent of the 535,213-square-foot warehouse. Communication Test Design was represented by Tony Lydon and Marc Hertzberg of Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord, LBA Realty, was represented by Allen Lowe and Matt Hobaica of Lee & Associates.

LOS ANGELES – USC has signed a 72-month lease for 19,115 square feet at the LA World Trade Center in Downtown Los Angeles. The building is located at 350 South Figueroa Street. USC plans to use the new space for Ednovate, a new charter high school that will open later this month. USC was represented by Howard Feuerstein, Dennis Smith and Cory Campbell of Travers Realty. The landlord, Jamison Services, was represented by Chris Runyen with Charles Dunn Company.
