ONTARIO, CALIF. — Denver-based ProLogis has leased 215,000 square feet of distribution space to Golden State Container, an international provider of packaging and storage solutions. The tenant will occupy space at ProLogis Park Ontario Airport, a newly constructed 369,000-square-foot facility in Ontario. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The property features two studios, 17 one-bedroom/one-bath apartments, two two-bedroom/one-bath units and two two-bedroom/one-bath townhomes. Built in the mid-1960s, the complex also features a swimming pool.
PHOENIX — St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance has purchased an industrial building, which is located at 3131 W. Thomas Rd. in Phoenix. The 20,400-square-foot facility sold for $1.93 million. John Filli, Jeff Hays and Chad Neppl of NAI Horizon represented the buyer; Paul Boyle of Grubb & Ellis represented the seller, R&H Investments, in the transaction.
SEATTLE — Emerald Bay Equity has developed Sweetbrier, a mixed-use development located in the Upper Queen Anne area of Seattle. Located at 8 W. Crocket St., the 54,000-square-foot project features 12,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space, 45 apartments and 82 underground parking stalls. Designed by Seattle-based Tiscareno Associates, the project is slated to achieve LEED certification. Other project partners include DCI Engineers, PACLAND, Veach Consulting Engineers and BrN Engineering. Charter Construction served as general contractor for the project.
PORTLAND, ORE. — NBS Financial Services has arranged $15.1 million in refinancing for the Wieden + Kennedy Headquarters Building, which is located at 224 NW 13th Ave. in Portland’s Pearl District. The five-story building, which underwent a more than $35 million renovation, offers 160,000 square feet of office space. The building also features 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, which is occupied by Bluehour, Design Within Reach and ZoomCare. Ken Griggs and Paddy Ryan of NBS Financial Services arranged the financing, which was provided by John Hancock Life Insurance Co.
SURPRISE, ARIZ. — Developed by UDR, The Residences at Stadium Village has opened in Surprise. The seven-building multifamily neighborhood is located along North Stadium Way and is adjacent to Surprise Cactus League spring training stadium. The 15-acre project features 382 one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartments ranging in size from approximately 700 to 1,300 square feet. The units feature 42-inch flat-screen televisions, black and stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel hardware, walnut cabinetry, washers and dryers and spacious balconies. CARLSBAD, CALIF. — Johnson & Jennings General Contracting has a $2.18 million renovation project for a new 149,016-square-foot research/development, manufacturing and office facility for Alphatec Spine Inc., which is located at 5818 and 5830 El Camino Real in Carlsbad. The renovation project included construction of production space for research and manufacturing, development labs, Class 10,000 clean rooms and supporting mechanical yards. The project also included build-out of private and open office areas as well as an entry lobby featuring glass security walls, incorporating natural day lighting, energy-efficient lighting and new mechanical systems.
DUBLIN, CALIF. — A joint venture between Behringer Harvard Multifamily REIT 1 and PGGM Private Real Estate Fund has acquired the 390-unit Waterford Place multifamily property from an undisclosed party for an undisclosed amount. The complex, which is located at 4800 Tassajara Rd. in Dublin, consists of five four-story apartments and is 96.7 percent occupied. Apartment amenities include a pool and spa, a fitness center and a home theater room.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY AND LAGUNA HILLS, CALIF. — Valley Plaza has sold a 33,910-square-foot office development to a 1031-exchange investor for $5.5 million. The two-building property is located at 9550 Warner Ave. and 17050 Bushard St. in Fountain Valley. Encino, Calif.-based NAI Capital’s Steve Economos, George Economos and Geoff DeWolf represented the seller. Cox Commercial’s David Cox represented the buyer. DeWolf and Steve and George Economos, along with Kurt Hediger, represented Edward Mark in his sale of a 9,340-square-foot office building to Lake Forest Realty for $1.2 million. The property is located at 23030 Lake Forest Dr. in Laguna Hills.
SANTA ANA AND TUSTIN, CALIF. — Surefire has acquired a 24,700-square-foot warehouse from The Leeder Family Trust for $2.8 million. Located at 2110 Anne St. in Santa Anna, the industrial building is near the Centennial Regional Park. Ted Sawyer and Darin McDonald of Lee & Associates represented the buyer. Mike Hefner of Voit Real Estate Services’ Anaheim, Calif., office represented the seller. Voit Real Estate Services’ Mitch Zehner and Louis Tomaselli represented the landlord, Juniper Properties, in its 55,291-square-foot lease to Advanced Components Specialist. The $4.2 million industrial lease is for space located at 15651 Mosher Dr. in Tustin. Wade Tift of Grubb & Ellis represented the tenant, who will occupy the space for 10 years.
