CARLSBAD, CALIF. — McCarthy Building Cos. has completed construction of a new $13.6 million athletic stadium at Carlsbad High School, located at 3557 Lancer Way in Carlsbad. The second of a three-phased, $86 million construction renovation of the school that began in June 2008, the stadium project component involved the demolition of the existing stadium, installation of underground utility infrastructure and construction of a new 3,900-seat venue with aluminum bleachers and a synthetic track and field area. Perkins+Will is the project architect for the entire modernization project, and Gafcon is the program manager.

RENO, NEV. — Innotrac Corp. has renewed a more than 208,000-square-foot industrial lease at 4910 Longley Lane in Reno. Sue Smith of Argent Commercial Real Estate Services and Scotland Wright of Scotland Wright Associates represented the Duluth, Georgia-based tenant in the transaction, and NAI Alliance’s Paul Perkins, Dave Simonsen and J. Michael Hoeck represented the landlord.

GARDEN GROVE, CALIF. — Colliers International has negotiated the more than $4 million sale of a 50,625-square-foot industrial building, located at 7472 Chapman Ave. in Garden Grove, to Aero Dynamic Machining. Built in 1978, the single-story property is situated within the Garden Grove Industrial Park. Colliers’ Clyde Stauff represented the sellers, private investors David and Faith Grant, in the transaction, and Jackie Nguyen of Union Pacific Realty represented the buyer.

LOS ANGELES — Hendricks & Partners has closed the $12.8 million sale of the 56-unit Terraces at the Grove, a luxury apartment complex located in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles. Built in 1985, the property offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom units. Hendricks & Partners’ Robin Ossenbeck and Karoline Sauls represented the undisclosed seller in the disposition of the property to west L.A. private investors.

GLENDALE, ARIZ. — CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has brokered the $9.2 million sale of three vacant buildings totaling 146,063 square feet and a seven-acre land parcel at Glendale Corporate Center, located near the northeast corner of 99th Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale. The acquisition marks Los Angeles-based Regent Properties’ first office purchase in the Phoenix metro area. CBRE’s Ashley Brooks, Barry Gabel, Jim Bayless, Mindy Korth and Kelley Morrison represented the seller, Glendale Corporate Center Acquisition LLC, an Arizona-based company formed by California Bank & Trust and Bank of the West.

CORONA, CALIF. — Panattoni Development Co. has sold the 168,450-square-foot West Corona Corporate Center, a warehouse and manufacturing facility located at 1346 Railroad in Corona, to action-sports apparel retailer, Zumiez Inc., for $11.9 million. Cushman & Wakefield’S Jeff Chiate, Rick Ellison, Peter Sowa and Brett Lockwood represented Panattoni in the transaction, and Greg Gil and Erik Hernandez of Lee & Associates represented the Everett, Wash.-based buyer, which will relocate to the new facility in the summer. Completed in June 2009, West Corona Corporate Center is LEED Silver certified.

BRIGHTON, COLO. — The Weitz Company has broken ground on a new 45,000-square-foot public charter school located at 340 S. 45th Ave. in Brighton. When it opens to students in grades K-5 in September, the facility will feature 28 classrooms. The school’s board of directors selected National Heritage Academies as its partner to manage the daily operations of the school.
