DALY CITY, CALIF. — Harvest Properties and an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management have completed the disposition of DC Station, a Class A office building located at 2001 Junipero Serra Blvd. in Daly City. The transaction also included an adjacent seven-level parking structure. Terms of the sale, including the name of the buyer and acquisition price, were not released. The sellers originally acquired the 385,000-square-foot property in April 2018 and implemented a leasing program that resulted in more than 90 percent occupancy by early 2020.

Cisterra to Develop 22-Story Retail, Residential Tower in San Diego with Target as Anchor Tenant

SAN DIEGO — San Diego-based Cisterra Development is developing Radian, a planned 255,000-square-foot retail and residential high-rise tower in the Ballpark District of San Diego’s East Village neighborhood. Located along G Street between 9th and 10th avenues, the 22-story tower will feature 241 apartments and ground-floor retail space, which a 36,000-square-foot Target will occupy. Residential amenities will include an indoor/outdoor fitness center, game room, event/dining room, business center/lounge, dog park/wash, outdoor theater and a rooftop pool/hot tub area with views of Petco Park, the Pacific Ocean, San Diego Bay and Coronado. Project partners include San Diego-based Carrier Johnston + CULTURE as building architect, Gensler for interior design and Swinerton as the general contractor. ACORE Capital provided construction financing, which CBRE procured, while Berkadia arranged a private family office as a joint-venture partner. The Koman Group and Wermers Properties are also joint-venture partners on the project.
Marcus & Millichap Arranges $6.3M Sale-Leaseback of Kum & Go-Occupied Property in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of a retail property located at Spectrum Loop in Colorado Springs. A limited liability company acquired the asset for $6.3 million. Kum & Go gas station and convenience store occupies the 5,620-square-foot property on a net lease. The building is adjacent to a 4 million-square-foot Amazon distribution center, which was built in 2021. Brian Bailey and Drew Isaac of Marcus & Millichap’s Denver office represented the buyer in the deal. The name of the seller was not released.
PERRIS, CALIF. — IDC has inked a deal to occupy an industrial building located at 251 Rider St. in Perris. WPT Industrial REIT, a Canadian real estate investment trust, is the landlord. The newly constructed, 354,810-square-foot facility features 185 parking stalls, 65 trailer stalls and 47 dock-high loading doors. The property is situated near the 60 and 215 freeways. Mark Zorn and Cory Whitman of Colliers International represented the landlord in the deal.
CAMARILLO, CALIF. — Colliers’ National Retail Capital Markets has arranged the $61.5 million sale of Camarillo Village Square, a grocery-anchored shopping center in Camarillo. Anchor tenants at the 247,000-square-foot property are Sprouts Farmers Market, Rite Aid, Big 5 Sporting Goods and PetSmart. The asset is located at 1656-2350 Las Posas Road. Donahue Schriber sold the property to an undisclosed buyer in an off-market transaction. According to Colliers, the sale was the largest priced retail transaction year-to-date in California. El Warner of Colliers represented the seller in the deal.
TEMPE, ARIZ. — Mortenson, in partnership with PGIM Real Estate and Urban Development Partners, has broken ground on The Beam on Farmer, a Class A office building located in downtown Tempe. The five-story, 184,000-square-foot building will feature exposed cross-laminated timber (CLT) construction as the primary structural system. The CLT process utilizes young trees and combines layers of natural timber for an eco-friendly building approach. CLT creates zero waste and will capture 3.5 tons of carbon dioxide with scrap material from CLT production used to create other products or biofuel. Located at 401 S. Farmer Ave., The Beam on Farmer will feature a mix of solid timber, concrete, steel and glass in its design. Interiors will feature 13-foot exposed wood ceilings, 40,000-square-foot open floorplates and an under-floor air distribution (UFAD) system providing high-quality airflow and energy efficiency. Additionally, the project will be served by an adjacent parking garage with a 4/1,000 parking ratio. RSP Architects is serving as architect for the project, which is slated for completion in May 2022. Ryan Timpani and Mark Gustin of JLL are handling leasing for the project.
BURIEN, WASH. — Berkadia has brokered the sale and financing for Arbour Court, a garden-style community located at 2225 S. 112th St. in Burien, a suburb of Seattle. Kuhar Bay Club sold the asset to a private group of local investors for $19.1 million. Kenny Dudunakis, Ben Johnson and David Sorensen of Berkadia’s Seattle office represented the seller in the transaction. Robert Doxsee and Michael Manolides of Berkardia Seattle’s office, along with Brad Williamson of Berkadia’s Miami office, arranged a $15 million acquisition loan on behalf of the buyer through New York-based Ready Capital. Built in 1990, Arbour Court features 75 units in a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 700 square feet to 1,030 square feet. Units offer gourmet kitchens, fireplaces, large walk-in closets and in-unit washers/dryers. Community amenities include an indoor pool, sauna and a fitness center.
Civic Partners, Premier Design + Build Complete Multifamily Community in Lake Elsinore, California

LAKE ELSINORE, CALIF. — Civic Partners, with the support of the City of Elsinore, and Premier Design + Build Group have completed The Cottages at Mission Trail, a multifamily development in Lake Elsinore. The Cottages at Mission Trail features 143 two- and three-bedroom apartments in six floor plans spread across 78 buildings on a 20-acre site. Community amenities include a recreation center, large park, tot lot with playground equipment, laundry center and leasing center. The community has parking for 330 vehicles and many individual homes offer driveways. The Cottages at Mission Trail is part of Summerly, a 3,000-acre Lake Elsinore development that includes a golf course, single-family residential community and retail center. The project team included KTGY Group, ima, Gouvis Engineering and Wilson-Mikami.
BULLHEAD, ARIZ. — Faris Lee Investments has arranged the sale of a 52,944-square-foot retail asset located within City Square Shopping Center in Bullhead. An undisclosed seller sold the property for $7.1 million. The name of the buyer was not released. The transaction included Smart & Final Extra! and Ashley Homestore, both of which are triple-net lease tenants. Chris DePierro of Faris Lee represented the seller in the deal.
LAS VEGAS — KeyBank has arranged a $58.5 million fixed-rate, investor-placed loan for the refinancing for Tanager, an apartment community in Las Vegas. The borrower is Texas-based The Howard Hughes Corp. Built in 2019, Tanager features 267 one- and two-bedroom apartments spread across three three-story residential buildings on nine acres. Amenities include a fitness center, game room, pool, spa, courtyard and outdoor kitchen with television lounge. Trevor Ritter of KeyBank Real Estate Capital’s Commercial Mortgage Group and Dan Silbert of KeyBank’s Institutional Real Estate Group structured the 10-year financing with full-term interest-only payments and a 30-year amortization schedule.
