ATLANTA — CCI Real Estate has begun leasing 740 Techwood, a 95-bed student housing development located near the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. CCI is developing the property in partnership with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board that will replace an existing Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) building located at 740 Techwood Drive. CCI obtained $18 million in construction financing last year for the project.
The 64,000-square-foot development will rise five stories and offer 55 fully furnished units in studio, one- and two-bedroom configurations. Shared amenities will include an onsite coffee shop, study lounges, study areas and an outdoor private courtyard with a fire pit. The development team for the project includes general contractor True North Cos.
Completion is expected ahead of Georgia Tech’s 2027-2028 academic year.
