SAN ANTONIO — Nationwide Insurance has opened a 280,000-square-foot office campus, located near the intersection of Hyatt Resort Drive and State Road 151 in San Antonio. The office property is LEED certified and achieved the Institute for Business & Home Safety's FORTIFIED status, meaning it exceeds code to withstand natural disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires and windstorms. The office complex also features a high-tech cafe, onsite health services, landscaped courtyards, an outdoor sports court and a fitness center. The property will house nearly 1,500 Nationwide employees with the capacity to house 2,000 total employees.

CEDAR PARK — Austin-based TRISUN Healthcare, a subsidiary of Harden Healthcare, will open Cottonwood Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located at 1500 Cottonwood Creek Trail in Cedar Park. The 50,000-square-foot, 120-bed seniors community will include TRISUN's Enhanced Dining program, 24-hour nursing care, short- and long-term rehabilitation services and a rehab gym staffed by professional therapists. The center will staff approximately 140 full- and part-time employees when fully staffed.

SAN ANTONIO — Linsalata Realty Services has brokered the sale of a 10,845-square-foot shopping center, located at 8806-8826 Bandera Road in northwest San Antonio. The property is currently 85 percent leased. Joe Linsalata of Linsalata Realty Services represented the buyer, San Antonio-based Miura Investments, in the transaction. Brad Bailey of The Weitzman Group represented the seller.

DALLAS — Satterfield & Pontikes Construction has been selected to develop the 206,000-square-foot Billy Earl Dade Middle School, a $34.6 million project located east of downtown Dallas near the Cotton Bowl Stadium. The school will serve approximately 1,000 students and will feature 43 classrooms, a media center, visual arts area, special education classrooms, computer and science labs, two gymnasiums, auditorium, cafeteria and administrative space. Kell Munoz Architects/KAI Texas designed the school in compliance with standards set by the Texas Collaborative for High Performance Schools. Parsons will serve as project manager for the school's construction, which is slated to wrap up in summer 2013.

FORT WORTH — Colliers International has arranged the sale of Edge 55, a 55-unit, off-campus student housing development, located at 3517 S. University Drive in Fort Worth, that serves the students of Texas Christian University (TCU). The complex is located a half mile away from TCU's campus. Dorothy Jackman and Travis Prince of Colliers Student Housing Group represented the seller, investor Steve Berry's Campus Village Centre, in the transaction. Nick Fluellen of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer, Shore to Shore Properties.

DALLAS — Stream Realty Partners has moved its headquarters to 40,000 square feet of office space at the 50-story Trammell Crow Center, located in Dallas' Art District and adjacent to the new Woodall Rodgers Deck Park. BOKA Powell helped design the new headquarters that will feature an open-office concept. Sarah Erickson, Ramsey March and Tommy Nelson led Stream's leasing transaction.

DALLAS — NorthMarq Capital has arranged a construction/permanent loan and joint venture financing for the 263-unit Uptown Victory Apartments, a luxury multifamily development located in Dallas. The apartment community boasts views of Victory Park and Dallas' Central Business District. William Jackson of NorthMarq's Dallas office arranged the financing with a regional commercial bank and a Texas-based equity fund company.
