CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — McShane Development Co. has completed the 37,444-square-foot U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Specialty Outpatient Clinic in Corpus Christi. The new facility is located at 205 S. Enterprize Parkway in the 100 South Padre Island Business Park. McShane provided the turnkey development, design and construction services for the build-to-suit medical facility. The clinic was designed to meet LEED Silver certification with an energy-efficient HVAC system, a reflective TPO roof and a glass curtainwall entryway. Cadence McShane Construction Co. and Rees Associates provided comprehensive design/build construction services.

The property is fully occupied by Studio Movie Grill. PLANO, TEXAS — Jones Lang LaSalle has brokered the sale of a 32,262-square-foot office building, located at 6101 W. Plano Parkway in Plano. The buyer, Starkey Mortgage, will use the office building as its new corporate headquarters. Steve Thelen and Stephen Holley represented the buyer in the transaction. BETHESDA, MD. — Bethesda-based Beech Street Capital has arranged $15 million in Fannie Mae DUS loans to refinance a four-apartment portfolio in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and San Angelo. The apartment communities total 625 units and include Solarium Apartments in the Dallas MSA, Village Green Apartments in Austin, Encino Park Apartments in San Angelo and La Calera Apartments in San Antonio. Larry Sneathern of Beech Street's Dallas office originated the transactions. The fixed-rate loans have 10-year terms and will amortize over 30 years.

LEWISVILLE, TEXAS — The Weitzman Group and Cencor Realty Services have been assigned to lease and manage the 315,008-square-foot Lakepointe Crossing Shopping Center in Lewisville. The shopping center, located at State Highway 121 and Interstate 35 East, is shadow-anchored by Garden Ridge. The shopping center's tenants include Academy Sports + Outdoors, Toys “R” Us, Conn's, Pier 1 Imports and David's Bridal. Austin Schenkel and Matt Baisch of The Weitzman Group will handle the center's leasing efforts, while Stephanie Burgess of Cencor is the center's property manager.

SAN ANTONIO — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of the 60,521-square-foot Carillon Hills Shopping Center, located at 5805-5889 Babcock Road in northwest San Antonio. Dollar Tree is the shopping center's anchor tenant. Stephen Berchelmann and Chad Knibbe of Marcus & Millichap's San Antonio office represented the seller in the transaction. Knibbe and Bethany Babcock, also of Marcus & Millichap's San Antonio office, secured the buyer.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS — Don and Arlena McLaughlin have purchased a 1.71-acre site for a 12,000-square-foot Primrose School in the forthcoming Creekside Park Village Center in The Woodlands. The McLaughlins purchased the site from The Woodlands Development Co. (TWDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corp. Construction is expected to begin in March and wrap up by the fall, in time for the 2013-2014 school year. The school will be the third Primrose School in The Woodlands and the fifth overall. The new school is anticipating hiring 36 staff members. The Primrose Schools serve children from six weeks to kindergarten and offer after-school care and summer camps. The tenant was self-represented by Don McLaughlin in the transaction. Todd Edmonds of Colliers International represented TWDC.
