ODENTON, MD. — Riverscape LP has received a $9.5 million loan for its 280-unit Riverscape Apartments. The Class A property is located at 2600 Midway Branch Dr. in Odenton. Freddie Mac provided financing, and KeyBank Real Estate Capital secured the loan.

HENDERSON, N.C. — Centro Properties Group has sold the 165,929-square-foot Henderson Square shopping center to Warrendale, Penn.-based H.L. Libby Corp. for $8.25 million. The property, located in Henderson, is anchored by Belk and JC Penney, and Wal-Mart Supercenter serves as a shadow anchor. Gamestop, Dollar Tree, Shoe Show, Bath & Body Works and Avenue also are housed in the center. Tony D’Ambrosio and Joe Montgomery of Atlanta-based Colliers Spectrum Cauble represented the seller.
FLORIDA — Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Forum Architecture & Interior Design has completed design work for four multifamily properties currently under construction in Florida. The buildings span more than 1.6 million square feet and carry an estimated cost of $99 million. The 612-unit Glen at Cagan Crossings, located in Clermont, Fla., is being constructed by Winter Park, Fla.-based Walker & Co. Victoria Park, a 348-unit complex located in Polk County, Fla., is being built by Winter Park Construction. The 280-unit Lakeside Village Apartments, located in Windermere, Fla., is being built by Lake Mary, Fla.-based Altman Contractors. Lakeside Terrace, an 84-unit senior housing center located in Winter Haven, Fla., is being built by Altamonte Springs-based Picerne Construction.
BALTIMORE — Atlanta-based ARCO Design/Build has commenced construction on a 155,000-square-foot office and cold storage distribution center for Merchants Terminal Corp. The property is located in Baltimore adjacent to the city’s port. Delivery is expected this summer. Roswell, Ga.-based Randall-Paulson Architects designed the property.
SANTA ROSA BEACH, FLA. — Orlando-based Windcrest Development has sold 10.6 acres of land to Publix for an undisclosed price. Located on Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach, the land will be used for the 57,000-square-foot Publix at South Walton shopping center. A 40,000-square-foot Publix will anchor the property, which is slated to deliver in the third quarter. Jason Carnes of GVA Advantis’ Panama City, Fla., office represented both parties in the transaction.
HARRISONBURG, VA. — Virginia Beach, Va.-based Wheeler Interests has purchased the 56,960-square-foot Port Crossing Shopping Center from Baltimore-based Broad Reach Retail Partners for $7.5 million. The center is located near I-81 in Harrisonburg. Food Lion anchors the property, which is 94 percent occupied. Wheeler is planning an 8,400-square-foot expansion.
DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA. — Anda Medical Properties has purchased two medical office buildings from private sellers for $3.55 million. The 24,480-square-foot building and the 21,030-square-foot property are both located on Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach. Jeffrey Scott of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Brenner Real Estate Group brokered the sale.
ORLANDO, FLA. — Orlando-based McCree General Contractors & Architects has completed the 11,530-square-foot Orlando Fire Station #7. The facility was built to Silver LEED certification and features high-efficiency heating and cooling systems and low-flow plumbing. Design plans for the property are part of a prototype that will be used at five more fire stations in the area. The fire station includes truck bays, offices, a kitchen, a dining room, sleeping quarters and a triage area.
CARY, N.C. — Columbus, Ohio-based CASTO has welcomed Bloom Supermarket to the 58,863-square-foot Fairview Village, which is currently under construction in Cary. The 38,000-square-foot store will open during the first quarter of 2010. Bloom Supermarket is a subsidiary of Food Lion.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — JetSet Hospitality has purchased The Embassy Inn and the Windsor Inn & Suites from an undisclosed seller for an undisclosed amount. The two properties, which were constructed in the early 1900s, are located on 16th Street in Washington and encompass 84 total rooms. Bill Moyer and Charlotte Seale of Washington-based Donohoe Real Estate Services structured the sale.
