EAST GREENWICH, N.J. — Miami-based Scout Capital Partners is nearing completion of Scout Cold Logistics Center, a 332,000-square-foot cold storage facility in East Greenwich, located 18 miles outside Philadelphia in Southern New Jersey. The facility features 80 loading docks and 36-foot clear heights and is expected to be complete by the end of summer. A logistics company that specializes in transport of perishable foods has leased 97,000 square feet at the property. The remaining floor plans range in size from 65,000 to 235,000 square feet. Colliers is handling leasing of the facility.

ST. PETER, MINN. — Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. has completed a $70 million renovation and expansion of Nobel Hall of Science at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, about 70 miles southwest of Minneapolis. Nobel Hall houses the departments of biology, chemistry, geography and geology, along with interdisciplinary programs in biochemistry, molecular biology and environmental studies. Designed by Hastings+Chivetta, the 182,828-square-foot project nearly doubled the building’s footprint. A lobby and laboratory theater connects Nobel Hall to the Schafer Fine Arts building. The project also added new research and teaching laboratories, offices, classrooms and meeting rooms as well as a museum, greenhouse and auditorium.

One-Willoughby-Square-Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY — JEMB Realty is nearing completion of 1 Willoughby Square, a 500,000-square-foot office building in Brooklyn. The 34-story tower will feature underground parking and various outdoor amenity terraces and green spaces. FXCollaborative designed the project and will also be the anchor tenant upon completion, which is scheduled for the fourth quarter. The development team notes that the project represents the first ground-up office project in downtown Brooklyn in decades.

SanTico-Las-Vegas-NV

LAS VEGAS — Brass Cap Development has completed the construction of SanTico, an industrial property located at the intersection of South Rainbow Boulevard and West Sunset Road in southwest Las Vegas. Situated on 2.5 acres, SanTico features 40,000 square feet of mid-bay industrial space that is divisible to two 20,000-square-foot buildings. Each building features two dock-high doors, one grade-level loading door, 24-foot clear heights, an ESFR fire suppression system, 277/480 volt, 800 amp and three-phase, as well as four wire service. LM Construction handled design, planning and construction of the property, which is located at 6825 W. Teco Ave.

MIAMI — East End Capital has received civic approval to build Foyer Wynwood, a 12-story multifamily project planned for Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The project marks the debut of the developer’s co-living brand Foyer, which will operate the co-living segment of the 375,000-square-foot development. The property will feature 236 multifamily residences in both micro-unit and co-living floor plans, as well as coworking space. The City of Miami’s Urban Development Review Board recently approved Foyer Wynwood, which will front North Miami Avenue from 24th and 25th streets. The development will be situated near attractions in Wynwood such as Veza Sur Brewery, The Wynwood Arcade, Oasis, The Salty and the planned Arlo Hotel. Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Design, Foyer Wynwood’s community amenities will include a gym, juice and coffee bar, pool deck, chef-kitchen and entertainment space, art studio areas and rooms for recording podcasts and green-screen filming. Monthly rents for co-living bedrooms at the project — which include the furnishings, electricity, common area cleaning and WiFi — are expected to start around $1,500 per month. East End Capital expects to break ground in early 2021.

Clarkson-Cherry-Hills-Village-CO-1

CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, COLO. — MIG Real Estate has acquired a one-acre development site in Denver for construction of The Clarkson, a 114-unit multifamily community located in Cherry Hills Village, a suburb of Denver. A private seller sold the site for $3.4 million. Slated to break ground in 2021, The Clarkson will feature 23 studios, eight junior one-bedroom, 56 one-bedroom and 27 two-bedroom layouts. The property’s 2,600 square feet of amenities will include a roof deck, courtyard with swimming pool, club room and gym. Additionally, the community will offer 160 parking spaces. The project team includes MIG Real Estate as developer, TCA Architects as design architect and Kimley-Horn Associates as civil engineering and landscape architect. Occupancy is scheduled for 2023. The transaction is the first acquisition for MIG’s Qualified Opportunity Zone Business Fund, which recently raised more than $100 million in equity to invest in Opportunity Zone development sites throughout the Western United States.

Overlook-at-St.-Gabriels-Boston

BOSTON — A partnership of Boston-based developer Cabot, Cabot & Forbes (CCF) and Georgia-based developer Peak Campus have completed The Overlook at St. Gabriel’s, a 555-unit multifamily community in the Brighton area of Boston. The luxury residential community is centered around the reimagined Church and St. Gabriel’s Monastery, which was originally built in 1909. The community consists of three residential buildings, more than 45,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space and seven acres of green space. The restored St. Gabriel’s church, now called Maker Hall, will be complete later this summer and will feature a fitness center, café, conference rooms and outdoor recreation space. Two residential buildings, Overlook Landmark and Overlook East, are complete. Construction is underway on The Overlook’s two additional apartment buildings, Overlook North and West, with Overlook North set to be delivered this fall and Overlook West set to be delivered early next year. This phase of the project will also include two pet spas, a pool and sundeck. Blue Vista Capital Management is a capital partner on the project. BH+A is the architect, and CUBE3 is the general contractor.

LOMBARD, ILL. — Bridge Development Partners LLC and Cabot Properties have unveiled plans to develop Bridge Point I-355, an industrial building spanning 133,100 square feet in Lombard, about 20 miles west of Chicago. Bridge and Cabot bought the vacant, 7.2-acre site from Location Finders International. The development will feature a clear height of 32 feet, 22 exterior docks, four drive-in doors, 10 trailer stalls and 170 car parking spaces. The development will be divisible for multiple tenants. The project is slated for completion in the fourth quarter. Dominic Carbonari, Frank Griffin and Kate Coxworth of JLL represented the seller.

EL MONTE, CALIF. — Goodman Group has completed Goodman Logistics Center El Monte – Los Angeles East, a 1.2 million-square-foot logistics facility in El Monte. Located at 4300 Shirley Ave., the new facility offers 227,850 square feet to 935,657 square feet of space that is designed to support modern warehouses for the e-commerce industry and beyond. The logistics facility’s design offers flexibility to accommodate warehousing requirements for a variety of tenant needs. The property is located less than one mile from Interstate 10, four miles from Interstate 605, 13 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 24 miles from the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach.

Cedartree-Hotel-Hillsboro-OR

HILLSBORO, ORE. — Norris & Stevens has arranged the sale of a 5.9-acre land site located at NE Wagon and NE Five Oaks drives in Hillsboro. Cedartree Hotels, a subsidiary of Kyoto, Japan-based Urban Hotel System, acquired the property for $2.4 million. The buyer plans to develop a 120-room hotel with a full-service restaurant, sake bar and traditional tatami flooring. Additionally, the hotel will feature a Japanese garden, heated indoor pool, outdoor stone bath and conference rooms. The project, which will be Cedartree Hotels’ first property in the United States, is slated for delivery in early 2021. Greg Nesting and Gabe Schnitzer of Norris & Stevens represented the buyer and undisclosed seller in the deal.
