DALLAS — Hill & Wilkinson has completed the renovation of 1217 Main Street, a 28,000-square-foot mixed-use building in downtown Dallas. Built in 1958, the property features four floors of office space and 2,500 square feet of ground-floor restaurant space. The renovation included upgrades to the building’s structural support system and façade. 5G Studio Collaborative served as architect on the project and Armstrong-Douglass served as structural engineer.

ATLANTA — The Allen Morris Co. has acquired a 1.7-acre parcel of land in Atlanta’s West Midtown district for $8.5 million, with plans to develop a new 220,000-square-foot office tower. The 14-story building located at 1041 Howell Mill Road will be known as Star Metals Offices. The building will offer 185,000 square feet of office space, 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a 7,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant and bar. Amenities will include landscaped outdoor terraces, tenant collaboration areas, bike racks and shower facilities. Star Metals Offices is part of the 4.75-acre Star Metals Atlanta development, which includes 409 multifamily units located across Howell Mill Road from the site of the future office building. Jeff Bellamy of JLL is handling the office building’s leasing assignment. Allen Morris expects to begin demolition on the site later this year, with an anticipated completion in spring 2020.

BLUM, TEXAS — MYCON General Contractors has broken ground on a 57,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for DynaEnergetics, a supplier of oilfield products and an affiliate of Colorado-based metalworking firm DMC Global Inc. The facility will be located in Blum, about 50 miles south of Fort Worth. Completion is slated for mid-summer.

RENO, NEV. — Dermody Properties has started construction of LogistiCenter at 395 Phase II in the North Valleys of Reno. The building will add 436,368 square feet, bringing the total square footage of LogistiCenter at 395 Phase II to more than 1.1 million square feet. The project is slated for completion this September. The 130-acre, master-planned industrial business park will then be home to three buildings totaling more than 1.6 million square feet. The new building will feature a 36-foot clear height and parking, including 378 car stalls and 203 trailer stalls. The entire building is available for lease. Eric Bennett and Gordon Zack of CBRE are marketing the property. United Construction is the general contractor on the project. PCCP LLC is Dermody Properties’ strategic capital partner on the industrial park.

OAK CREEK, WIS. — Froedtert Hospital & the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Drexel Town Square Health Center has opened in Oak Creek, about 12 miles south of Milwaukee. Developed by HSA PrimeCare, the health center spans 109,000 square feet and includes a 425-space parking garage. The property is home to family and pediatric medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, urgent care and specialty care. The facility also includes an outpatient surgery center, cancer center, pharmacy and lab services. Dual-access exam rooms and an oval-shaped shared workspace for hospital staff and doctors help cut down on wait times.

ORLANDO, FLA. — HFF has arranged joint venture equity and construction financing for the development of Vineland Pointe, a 470,000-square-foot shopping center under construction in Orlando. Danny Finkle and Brian Gaswirth of HFF arranged the joint venture equity partnership with LaSalle Investment Management on behalf of the developer, O’Connor Capital Partners. The HFF team subsequently arranged a construction loan through Wells Fargo Bank on behalf of the LaSalle-O’Connor partnership. The three-phase Vineland Pointe will be home to tenants such as Lucky’s Market, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls and Burlington. Site work at the property is underway, and the project is slated for completion by mid-2019.

GREENVILLE, S.C. —  Entertainment concept Topgolf plans to open a new location at Garlington North, a 77-acre mixed-use project under development at Interstate 85 and Pelham Road in Greenville. Andy Misiaveg and Darrell Palasciano of The Shopping Center Group represented both Topgolf and owner/developer RealtyLink LLC in the lease negotiations. TSCG is the exclusive leasing advisor for the development. The three-story Topgolf venue will be situated on 13.5 acres in the northwest corner of the site, and will include 72 climate-controlled hitting bays that can host up to six players at a time. The facility will be the first Topgolf in South Carolina and is expected to open in summer 2019. Additional plans for the first phase of Garlington North include 24 acres of green space and preserved wetlands. There are three additional parcels available for sale or ground lease, and TSCG is pursuing restaurants, hotel chains, entertainment venues, retail and office tenants to round out Phase I. RealtyLink is considering retail, office, industrial and/or flex space for the second phase of the project. Site work is currently underway, but an additional construction timeline was not disclosed.

PHOENIX — Pristine Auction has completed construction on a 37,000-square-foot industrial facility at Spectrum Ridge Business Park in Phoenix. The facility is situated at the southeast corner of 7th Street and Deer Valley Road. The new space will provide Pristine Auction with room for expansion and increased efficiency. The project includes increased areas for inventory and product input. It was designed with a large executive balcony overlooking the surrounding mountain landscapes. The total project cost more than $4 million, which Chase Bank financed. Eric Bell and Mike Ciosek of Kidder Mathews handled the site selection and building transaction for the online sports memorabilia company. Wes Balmer Architects designed the property, which Sun State Builders constructed.

DENVER — Quiznos has debuted its newest restaurant prototype, which will include a redesigned interior layout. The new layout includes a dedicated spot for online-order pick-up and orders made through the Toasty Points loyalty mobile app, as well as seating with power outlets to keep devices charged throughout a customer’s visit. Founded in 1981, Denver-based Quiznos is a quick-service restaurant chain serving toasted sandwiches in 35 countries.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS — A joint venture between aircraft manufacturer Airbus Helicopters and French aerospace firm Thales Group will develop and operate a $40 million training facility at Airbus Helicopter’s headquarters in Grand Prairie. The facility will have the capacity to train several thousand pilots and maintenance personnel per year. It will also house the flight simulator for the H160, the latest helicopter model being developed by Airbus. A timetable for construction has not yet been established.
