MANTECA, CALIF. — dd’s DISCOUNTS, a division of Ross Stores Inc. will open its 200th store in Manteca, Calif., on June 24. The 18,000-square-foot Northern California store is located in the Stadium Center at Highway 120 and Airport Way. The new location will increase the store count to 84 in California. Together, Ross Dress for Less and dd’s DISCOUNTS currently operate approximately 1,560 off-price apparel and home fashion stores in 37 states, the District of Columbia and Guam.

SALT LAKE CITY — Next spring, Dave & Buster’s will open its first Utah location at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City. In addition to its $100 million redevelopment plan, The Gateway and its parent company, Vestar, were looking for a big name, family-friendly venue to anchor its rebranding effort. With restaurants in 34 states and internationally, Dave & Buster’s offers a combination of entertainment and dining, offering its customers the opportunity to “eat, drink, play and watch,” all in one location. The Gateway is a mixed-use shopping and entertainment center with over 80 shops, restaurants and amenities — including Wiseguys Comedy Club, Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatre, The Depot, Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum and Clark Planetarium. Vestar acquires, develops and manages shopping and entertainment destinations. Vestar’s current portfolio of retail properties totals 26 million square feet throughout the Western states. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Dallas, Dave & Buster’s Entertainment Inc. is the owner and operator of 99 venues in North America.

BELLEVILLE, ILL. — McGrath & Associates has completed construction of a new $4.8 million hybrid vascular operating room at Memorial Hospital Belleville in Belleville, about 17 miles east of St. Louis. The room incorporates advanced surgical, imaging and monitoring technology for endovascular surgical procedures. McGrath combined two existing operating rooms to accommodate the high-tech equipment, including a Siemens Artis Zeego robotic-arm imaging system and Storz monitoring equipment. McGrath also recently completed the renovation of Operating Room 6 at the hospital. Archimages served as architect for both projects.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — CBRE has arranged $35.5 million in financing for Half Mile North and Pacific Box & Crate, two mixed-use projects on the Charleston peninsula. CBRE’s Jeff Ackemann and Porter McDonald arranged the permanent mortgage through Nationwide Real Estate Investments on behalf of the borrower, Raven Cliff Co. LLC. In 2016, the CBRE team secured a $35 million construction loan to recapitalize the Half Mile North Development and provide construction financing for the Pacific Box & Crate project. Together, the developments encompass 222,113 square feet of office space and chef-driven food options. The projects were 97 percent leased at the time of sale. SIB, Integral Solutions Group, BoomTown!, Phish Labs and Blue Acorn are among the developments’ current tenants.

BOSTON — Boston College has awarded Skanska USA a $113 million contract to provide construction services for a 244,000-square-foot recreation center at the university. Designed by Cannon Design, the four-story facility will feature a fitness center, jogging track, natatorium with lap and instructional pools, four wood-floor basketball courts, three tennis courts, two multi-activity courts and multi-purpose rooms for spin, yoga and fitness classes. Slated for completion in summer 2019, the new facility will replace the Flynn Recreation Complex.

DALLAS — De La Vega Development will develop OVERstreet at SEVENTYfive, a 1.4 million-square-foot mixed-use project situated at the corner of North Central Expressway and Haskell Avenue in Dallas. The four-building project will deliver 767,000 square feet of office space, a 150-room hotel, 59,500 square feet of retail and restaurant space and a 462,000-square-foot residential tower. The project will also include three parking garages totaling 2,770 spaces. De La Vega purchased the 10-acre tract on which the project will be developed, according to The Dallas Morning News.

EAST PEORIA, ILL. — Cullinan Properties is developing a 7,680-square-foot retail building at The Levee District in East Peoria. The multi-tenant building, currently under construction in central Illinois, will be located at 4015 Spinder Drive between Panda Express and McDonald’s. T-Mobile will open at the building this fall, with additional tenants to be announced. Anchored by Target, The Levee District is over 90 percent occupied by tenants including Ross, Ulta, Tequila’s Mexican Restaurant, Jenny Craig and Heartland Dental. The property encompasses more than 86 acres.

NORTH BETHESDA, MD. — Federal Realty Investment Trust has revealed plans for 909 Rose Ave., the second office building within the 24-acre Pike & Rose mixed-use project in North Bethesda. Designed by Hickok Cole, the 11-story, Class A, LEED Silver-certified office building will include panoramic views from the rooftop terrace, meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, bike storage and a gym facility with showers. Tenant build-out could begin as early as the fall of 2019, with move-in by the first quarter of 2020. Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Regus and Hilti are among the tenants in Pike & Rose’s first office building. Other components of Pike & Rose include more than 20 restaurants and 25 retail shops.

HOUSTON — Stream Realty Partners and development partner AMD Global LLC will develop Memorial Medical Pavilion, a 101,744-square-foot, Class A medical office complex near the Texas Medical Center in Houston. In early June, joint venture between Stream, AMD and Diamond Realty Investments Inc., an affiliate of Mitsubishi Corp., purchased the two-acre site on which the complex will be developed. Construction is scheduled to begin in December with occupancy slated for the first quarter of 2019.

BURLESON, TEXAS — Abby Development has broken ground on Auberge of Burleson, a 250-unit, Class A multifamily community located near the intersection of State Highway 174 and FM 731 in the southern Fort Worth metro of Burleson. The property, which features a 24-hour fitness center, resident coffee bar and a dog park, will be part of the 95-acre Arabella of Burleson master-planned development.
