SPRINGFIELD, MASS. — The SilverBrick Group has completed the renovation of SilverBrick Square in Springfield. Located at 122 Chestnut St., the 120,000-square-foot building is a former YMCA property. The newly renovated, 99-unit apartment community now includes new finishes in units and common areas as well as a new fitness center. Emerald Creek Capital provided an $8 million bridge loan to SilverBrick Group for the renovations. Terms of the loan were not disclosed.

FLAT ROCK, MICH. — Ford has unveiled plans to begin producing battery electric vehicles at its Flat Rock assembly plant in Southeast Michigan. Ford plans to invest more than $850 million in the Flat Rock assembly plant through 2023, adding a second shift and approximately 900 new jobs. The plant investment also includes funding to build the next-generation Mustang and is the bulk of a $900 million investment in Ford’s operations in Southeast Michigan. Ford also said it will begin building an all-electric SUV starting in 2020 at its Cuautitlan, Mexico plant. Production of Ford’s first autonomous vehicles will begin in 2021 for deployment in commercial use.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Magnus Development Partners has broken ground on Midway Logistics IV, a 200,000-square-foot speculative industrial building within Lexington County Industrial Park in Columbia. The tilt-up, multi-tenant building will feature 32-foot clear heights, 16 dock doors, two 12-by-14-foot drive-in doors, a 210-foot shared truck court, LED motion-detected lighting and an ESFR sprinkler system. Magnus expects to deliver the facility in the third quarter. Colliers International will handle leasing efforts on behalf of the developer.

GOODYEAR, ARIZ. — Adelante Health Center has opened Adelante Health Center, its newest healthcare facility in Goodyear. Situated on 7 acres at 13471 W. Cornerstone Blvd., the 45,000-square-foot facility features a variety of services including family medicine, internal medicine, OB/GYN, family dental, behavioral health, on-site laboratory, pharmacy, WIC/nutrition and pediatrics. The $4.7 million facility is located just east of Abrazo West Campus Hospital. Adelante Healthcare is a nonprofit that operates 10 healthcare centers in Central Arizona.

ANAHEIM, CALIF. — R.D. Olson Construction has broken ground on a 223-room, dual-branded hotel located at 1441 S. Manchester Ave. in Anaheim. Situated two blocks from Disneyland Resort, the 220,000-square-foot property will comprise a 123-room Hilton Garden Inn and a 100-room Home2 Suites. Home2 Suites offers an extended-stay experience for guests, including a full-sized sleeper sofa, workspace and in-suite kitchen complete with a refrigerator, cooktop, dishwasher, dishes and glassware. Additionally, the dual-branded property will also include a laundry, fitness center and 24-hour marketplace. Both hotels will also have access to a restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, kids splash pad and shared lobby. Guests at both hotels will also have access to 1,000 square feet of meeting space, 1,500 square feet of retail space and two levels of underground valet parking. Completion is slated for the fourth quarter of 2020. The project team includes BRR Architecture and Studio 11 Design.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WIS. — Phoenix Investors has unveiled plans to convert its industrial facility located at 7505 Durand Ave. in Mount Pleasant into self-storage use. Phoenix plans to add up to 2,000 climate-controlled units at the 200,000-square-foot property. Store Here Self Storage will operate the facility.

COLUMBUS, OHIO — True Food Kitchen is opening its first location in Ohio at Easton Town Center. Set to open in 2020, the 6,000-square-foot restaurant will feature both indoor and outdoor dining space as well as a bar. True Food Kitchen offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes and operates 26 locations in 11 states. Easton Town Center is currently undergoing a $500 million, 16-acre expansion. Slated for delivery in early 2020, the property will be expandable up to 1.2 million square feet. The project will offer convenient access to I-70 and will be situated 20 miles west of the central business district. Building features include a clear height of 36 feet, cross-dock configuration, 130 trailer parking spaces and 200 car parking spaces.
