NAPA, CALIF. — DivcoWest and Orchard Partners have completed the first phase of Napa Logistics Park, a 2.9 million-square-foot, master-planned warehouse distribution park in Napa County. It is situated on 218 acres adjacent to Highway 29. The project’s first phase includes a 646,000-square-foot cross-dock logistics facility, which is currently available for sale or lease. Brooks Pedder and Benjamin Conwell of Cushman & Wakefield and Greig Lagomarsino of Colliers International represent the landlords.

JACKSONVILLE AND OCOEE, FLA. — Jernigan Capital Inc., a Memphis-based REIT that provides construction and development capital for the self-storage sector, has invested $12.6 million for the development of two self storage facilities in Florida. The first venture was a $7.5 million investment for a planned 784-unit, climate-controlled facility in east Jacksonville that PLG Properties LLC is developing. The self storage property is the first co-investment between Jernigan and PLG Properties. The second venture was a $5.1 million investment commitment for an addition 256 units to be added to an existing CubeSmart-managed facility in Ocoee that opened in May 2016. The facility is currently 65 percent leased. Storage Builders II LLC is the developer of the existing facility and the additional units, which will also be managed by CubeSmart upon completion.

BRICK, N.J. — Marquis Health Services, the healthcare affiliate of Tryko Partners LLC, has completed a $2.8 million renovation and repositioning of Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Brick. Located at 1049 Burnt Tavern Road, the property features 148 skilled nursing beds, an expanded rehabilitation therapy gym, a putting green, gourmet coffee lounge and updated common areas and patient rooms.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA — Co-developers MorningStar Senior Living and Confluent Development have broken ground on MorningStar Senior Living at Jordan Creek in West Des Moines. Construction is expected to be complete in November 2017. Located at 60th Street and Village View, the 71,643-square-foot property will feature 85 suites for assisted living and memory care. The community will offer studio, one- and two-bedroom suites ranging from 340 to more than 1,200 square feet. Rosemann & Associates is the architect for the new development. Thoma-Holec Design is the interior designer.

HOUSTON — McCord Development has topped out 250 Assay St. in Houston, the first multi-tenant office building in Generation Park’s lifestyle district, Redemption Square. The five-story building will feature 86,523 square feet of space, including 15,000 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space. Announced tenants include Apache Industrial Services and McCord Development, which will both relocate their corporate headquarters to the building. The property, which was designed by Page Southerland Page Architects in partnership with McCord, is slated for delivery in June 2017. E.E. Reed is serving as the general contractor for the building.

HYATTSVILLE, MD. — PREIT, a Philadelphia-based retail REIT, has signed Ulta Beauty and DSW to leases at Mall at Prince Georges in Hyattsville as part of the mall’s $30 million remerchandising and renovation program. Located at 3500 East-West Highway in suburban Washington, D.C., the property will undergo a facelift in early 2017 that encompasses new exterior facades and entrances, in addition to PREIT’s remerchandising efforts. Ulta Beauty has leased an 11,000-square-foot space at the mall, and DSW has leased 16,000 square feet. Both retailers are set to open their stores in the second quarter of 2018. PREIT also signed H&M to a 20,000-square-foot lease earlier this year, and the apparel retailer plans to open its store next month. PREIT plans to wrap up the mall’s renovations in time for the 2017 holiday season and complete the remerchandising in 2018, at which time about 73 percent of the non-anchor space — including new and existing shops and restaurants — will have new storefronts.

LAS VEGAS — Majestic Realty Co. has broken ground on a 295,500-square-foot speculative warehouse distribution center at its Beltway Business Park in Las Vegas. The warehouse will be situated just south of the Southern Beltway at the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Badura Avenue. Notable tenants at the park include Switch Communications, GES, NV Energy, Brady Industries and MGM. Thomas & Mack Development Group served as development partner on this project.

NEWNAN, GA. — Westminster Memory Care has planned a new, $10 million memory care community in the Atlanta suburb of Newnan. The Coweta Community Board of Commissioners approved a rezoning of the plot to allow the memory care development to proceed. Developer James Deupree plans to break ground on the community in early 2017 for completion in early 2018. Deupree, of Birmingham, Ala., recently opened a Westminster Memory Care community in nearby Dallas, Ga. He is planning eight more communities for Georgia and South Carolina. Riverwood Retirement Management, a Florida-based operator, will manage all Westminster communities.

HILO, HAWAII — DoubleTree by Hilton has opened the Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo, a 320-room hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii. The historic property recently underwent a $30 million renovation. The hotel includes Hilo’s only nine-hole golf course, along with a swimming pool and fitness center. It is located at 93 Banyan Drive. WHR LLC owns the property, which Aqua-Aston Hospitality manages.

OXFORD, MISS. — A joint venture between Homestead Development Partners, Columbus Pacific and Kayne Anderson Real Estate Advisors is set to develop HELiX Oxford, a 790-bed student housing community located near the University of Mississippi in Oxford. The property will offer one-, two- and four-bedroom, fully furnished flats and townhomes. Community amenities will include a circular, beach-entry pool; a health and fitness center with cross fit space, multipurpose yoga studio and cardio and weight equipment; study labs devoted to individual, small and large group study; an interactive gaming center; media center; event space; and a summer kitchen. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2018. The architect for the development is Charlan Brock and Associates, and Childs Dreyfus Group will be in charge of interior design. The project team includes general contractor The Construction Enterprises Inc., engineer Williams Engineering Consultants and landscape architect Dalhoff Thomas Design Studio. Asset Campus Housing has been tapped to manage the property upon completion.
