BARBOURSVILLE, W.VA. — Field & Stream, an outdoors specialty store owned and operated by Dick’s Sporting Goods, plans to open a new store in Huntington Mall in Barboursville. The new store will be situated adjacent to an existing Dick’s Sporting Goods and together the two retailers will occupy 100,000 square feet on the west side of the 1.5 million-square-foot mall, which is located off Route 60 and I-64. Niles, Ohio-based Cafaro Co. owns the mall and inked the lease for the new Field & Stream, which is slated to open in the fall of 2017.

National Development and its construction affiliate, Cranshaw Construction, currently occupy all four floors of 2310 Washington St. MPA provided space planning and interior design services for the 40,000-square-foot property. The project included updating the office design and relocating amenities to create an open, modern and collaborative space for staff. Cranshaw Construction served as construction manager for the project.

NEW YORK CITY — Adam Gordon Holdings and Tavros Development have completed 560 West 24th, a for-sale condominium building located at 560 W. 24th St. in Manhattan’s West Chelsea neighborhood. Designed by Montroy Andersen DeMarco and Steven Harris Architects, the 11-story, 40,000-square-foot building features six 3,200-square-foot, four-bedroom residences and two duplex penthouses. The residential units range from 3,200 to 6,000 square feet and feature outdoor spaces, including balconies and large terraces in the duplexes. Additionally, the ground floor features a lobby and the main exhibit floor of C24 Gallery, a two-story, 4,500-square-foot art gallery space.

LOS ANGELES — California Landmark Group has broken ground on D1, a 68-unit luxury apartment complex in the Los Angeles submarket of Marina del Rey. The $30 million community is located at 4210 Del Rey Ave. within the Marina Arts District. The development will feature a mix of open concept studios, as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, ranging in size from 740 square feet to 1,640 square feet. Common area amenities will include a gym, business center, meeting areas, outdoor lounge spaces, and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck with unobstructed city and ocean views. D1 will be completed in fall 2018. PK Architecture designed the project.

NEW YORK CITY — McSam Hotel Group has broken ground for a 25-story Hyatt Place located in Manhattan’s Garment District/Times Square. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect, the 180,000-square-foot hotel will feature 518 guest rooms and approximately 7,000 square feet of dining and lounge space, including an indoor restaurant, backyard eatery, bar/lounge, fitness center, business center and meeting space. VLDG Inc. is designing the interiors of the hotel.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — CBRE Group Inc. plans to relocate its Austin office to the 17th floor of 500 West 2nd Street in downtown Austin. The commercial real estate services firm signed a long-term lease to occupy 21,688 square feet beginning in fall 2017. 500 West 2nd is part of a 1.2-million-square-foot, mixed-use development in the vibrant 2nd Street District of downtown Austin. The new office is part of CBRE’s “Workplace360” initiative, designed to promote productivity through technology-enabled paperless offices. Based in part on research showing that employees spend about 50 percent of their time at their desks, the initiative aims to provide a flexible way of working based on an employee’s changing needs throughout the day. The offices have no assigned workspaces and include both collaborative and private spaces. CBRE’s Russell Young and Nate Stricklen represented the company in the transaction. CBRE’s Troy Holme, Casey Ford and Katie Ekstrom represented the landlord, a joint venture between Trammell Crow Co. and Principal Real Estate Investors.
