LEANDER, TEXAS — Randalls Food Markets and Cypress Equities will host a ground breaking ceremony for Crystal Falls Town Center, a 94,000-square-foot shopping center, on Thursday, Oct. 15. The center will be anchored by a new Randalls grocery store in the master-planned community of Crystal Falls in Leander, and is projected to open in fall 2016. Randalls president Sidney Hopper, Cypress Equities senior vice president Stephen Schmidt, Leander Mayor Chris Fielder and Leander Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Bridget Brandt will be on hand at the ceremony. The center will be located at 3501 N. Lakeline Blvd.

ELIZABETH, N.J. — HFF has arranged $23.8 million in construction financing for the development of a freezer warehouse at 900 Fairmont Ave. in Elizabeth. The financing was provided by The Provident Bank for the developer, a partnership between Elberon Development Group and The Avidan Group LLC. The 138,642-square-foot build-to-suit facility will feature 60-foot ceiling clear heights, 18 temperature-controlled loading doors and 4,800 square feet of office space. Slated for completion in June 2016, the property will be 100 percent occupied by Seafrigo NA Cold Storage Inc. Michael Klein and Jon Mikula of HFF represented the borrower in the financing transaction.

NEW YORK CITY — Anbau, a developer of luxury residential properties, has broken ground for Citizen360, a condominium property located at 360 E. 89th St. in Manhattan’s historic Yorkville neighborhood. Designed by The SHoP Architects, the 34-story building will feature 84 residences in a mix of one, two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts ranging from 900 to 4,500 square feet. On-site amenities include a lobby with green space, a fitness center with yoga and training studios, an entertainment suite with adjoining screening room, private resident lounges, multi-media studio, art studio and children’s playroom. Additional building services include a 24-hour doorman and indoor, on-site parking services for purchase. Sales for the residences are slated to start this fall.

MURRIETA, CALIF. — Developer and operator Anthem Memory Care has broken ground on Vineyard Place, a $12.6 million memory care community in Murrieta, about 80 miles southeast of Los Angeles. Anthem expects to open the 38,000-square-foot, 66-unit community in summer 2016. Working with Anthem on developing and building Vineyard Place are CM Consulting, Markham Development Management Group, CBTwo Architects, Consolidated Contracting and LTC Properties, which is providing financing. Anthem, based in Lake Oswego, Ore., also operates a dementia care community in Chico, Calif., and four in Denver. It is currently developing three communities in the greater Chicago area.

CHICAGO — Sterling Bay has unveiled plans to develop a 207,000-square-foot office building in Chicago. The build-to-suit property is located at 1511 W. Webster in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Sterling Bay acquired the 4.1-acre site earlier this year and will be the developer and manager of the property. The three-story building will become the new headquarters for C.H. Robinson, which has signed a 15-year lease for the entire property. The relocation will provide C.H. Robinson, the largest logistics company in Chicago, with 47,000 more square feet than it occupies in its current lease at 1840 N. Marcey St. Occupancy is slated for late 2018.

SAN FRANCISCO — A joint venture between MetLife, the John Buck Company and Golub Real Estate have announced plans to build Park Tower at Transbay, a 743,000-square-foot office tower near the Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco. The Class A tower will be located at Howard and Beale streets. The project will be a component of the Transbay Transit Center, a multi-billion-dollar redevelopment project that will feature residential, commercial and transportation facilities just three blocks from the San Francisco Bay. Park Tower at Transbay will feature 14 sky decks, as well as a ground-level park and a three-story lobby. The completion of the office complex is expected to coincide with the scheduled completion of the Transbay Transit Center. MetLife is an equity investor in the partnership, while John Buck and Golub are the developers. JLL is handling the project’s leasing.

DALLAS — On Oct. 5, The Beck Group celebrated the topping out of Crescent Real Estate Holdings’ McKinney & Olive office tower, located at the corner of McKinney Avenue and Olive Street in Uptown Dallas. The Beck Group is constructing the building. while Crescent is the developer. The 530,000-square-foot project is the tallest office building in Uptown Dallas at 20 stories. The building is the first in Dallas to be designed by architect Cesar Pelli. The project will include a blend of office, retail and restaurants and a one-acre public outdoor piazza, with landscaping for customers and the Uptown community. The building is designed so that corner offices have an unobstructed view of Uptown and downtown Dallas. Once open in 2016, the building will feature 10-foot ceilings, an outdoor landscaped garden on the fifth floor, a fitness center designed by Canyon Ranch and a conference center.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Ventures Development Group (VDG) has begun construction on the first multifamily development in the Near Southside Community of downtown Fort Worth. The 2.1-acre parcel is located at the corner of Jennings and Broadway avenues across the street from the Broadway Baptist Church. In conjunction with the development, the local tax increment district has approved infrastructure improvements, updated streetscapes and environmental remediation. VDG has engaged the multifamily division of Stream Realty Partners to manage the five-story, 209-unit community, which will also include 2,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space and four live/work studio lofts. South 400 Apartments will include amenities such as a sky lounge overlooking the Fort Worth skyline and private terraces.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Picone Construction Corp. is constructing a $4.5 million, five-story mixed-use building at 301 Ohio St. in Buffalo. The 52,000-square-foot property will house two restaurants, 10,000 square feet of commercial space and 21 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Residential units will feature balconies overlooking the Buffalo River. Designed by Chaintreuil, Jenson, Stark Architects, the project is slated for completion in 2016.

LANCASTER, OHIO — The Lancaster Port Authority and Lancaster Area Community Improvement Corp. (LCIC) have broken ground on a 50,400-square-foot, $2.4 million industrial building in Rock Mill Industrial Park in Lancaster, about 31 miles southeast of Columbus. The new building will be able to expand 25,000 square feet and will have 28-foot ceiling heights. The property is situated on a 6.6-acre lot and is slated for completion in early 2016. The City of Lancaster awarded Rock Mill Industrial Park a community reinvestment area designation providing 100 percent / 15-year real property tax abatement on improvements. Rock Mill Industrial Park is zoned heavy industrial and has full utilities.
