DALLAS — NAI Robert Lynn has secured a new industrial headquarters for food service distributor Taxco Produce at the North Texas Food Bank Building, a 108,000-square-foot property located at 4204 Dan Morton Drive in Dallas. Taxco, which previously operated out of 1718 S. Good Latimer Expressway, will move into its new space in early 2018. Matt Elliott of NAI Robert Lynn represented Taxco in the lease negotiations.

OCALA, FLA. — Earth Fare has opened its newest store today at Shady Oaks Shopping Center, a 260,419-square-foot retail center located at 2401-2499 S.W. 27th Ave. in Ocala. The Fletcher, N.C.-based organic grocer operates the 29,618-square-foot store, which features more than 4,000 non-GMO items and the Heirloom Organic Café, an organic salad bar, hot food bar and ready-to-go packaged meals. The Ocala store is the fifth Earth Fare in Florida and its 40th nationwide. RD Management recently wrapped up a $2.2 million renovation of the shopping center, which is situated on 25.5 acres.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA. — CBRE has arranged an 11,000-square-foot lease for Pontoon, a new brewery coming to Northridge Business Center in Sandy Springs, a northern suburb of Atlanta. The brewery will be located across the street from a Coca-Cola bottling plant on Dunwoody Place, situated directly between Ga. 400 and Roswell Road. Set to open in September, the first location for Pontoon will feature a large taproom and dockside décor, as well as tours, tastings, growler and crowler sales, events, live music and tailgates. Wesley Budd and Chris Irby of CBRE represented Pontoon in the lease transaction.

KANSAS CITY, MO. — Brennan Investment Group LLC has acquired a nine-building industrial portfolio in Kansas City. The portfolio spans 559,367 square feet within the Jackson County submarket. Neither the sales price nor the seller were disclosed. “Our new investment in Kansas City exhibits the key elements of our value-add investment criteria: an infill location, with modern functional attributes priced below replacement cost,” says Scott McKibben, chief investment officer and managing principal of Brennan Investment Group.

DOWNERS GROVE, ILL. — InvenTrust Properties Corp. has signed a 22,000-square-foot office lease at the Highland Landmark II building in Downers Grove, a suburb of Chicago. The real estate investment trust will occupy the space at 3025 Highland Parkway. InvenTrust is moving its corporate headquarters currently located at 2809 Butterfield Road in Oak Brook, Ill. The company expects to complete the move this summer. Jon Springer and Gary Fazzio of CBRE represented the tenant in the lease transaction.

LOUISVILLE, KY. — PRG | Commercial Property Advisors has brokered the $5.8 million sale of First Trust Centre, a seven-story office building located at 200 S. 5th St. in downtown Louisville. The 156,600-square-foot building is currently 72 percent leased. Tyler Smith of PRG represented the buyer, Miami-based Market Street Real Estate Partners, in the transaction. Smith has also been retained by Market Street to lease the property, which is the buyer’s first acquisition in the Louisville market.

NEW YORK CITY — Cadre has closed on the $70 million sale of a portfolio consisting of four multifamily apartment buildings in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens. Acquired in January 2015, the portfolio was renovated during Cadre’s ownership, including improvements to common areas and individual units, such as the addition of bedrooms and bathrooms to some units.

NEW YORK CITY — Rosewood Realty Group has arranged the $20.9 million sale of an apartment property located at 188-30 and 188-34 87th Dr. in the Holliswood neighborhood of Queens. A Brooklyn-based family purchased the six–story, 68,466-square-foot property, adding to its other holdings in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx. The 1950-built building includes 96 apartments as well as a storage area, laundry room and indoor parking for up to 40 vehicles.

SUN CITY, ARIZ. — Montecito Medical Real Estate has purchased a 35,420-square-foot medical office building in Sun City for an undisclosed sum. The Class A building is situated within a 12-acre plaza originally that was built as a retail center in 1974. The space was renovated in 2012. The building is fully leased to specialty practices, including neurology, urology, dermatology, opthalmology, internal medicine, digestive health and an ambulatory surgery center for endoscopy.

SALT LAKE CITY — Capital Freight Management has leased an 88,000-square-foot industrial building in the Pioneer Business Center in Salt Lake City. The building is located at 1855 S. Fremont Drive and is situated on 5.6 acres. Capital Freight Management buys local hay and barley, which it ships to China and other Asian countries. Eli Priest of Newmark Grubb Acres represented the renter. The firm’s Jeff Heaton and Lucas Burbank represented the landlord, Colony Industrial, in this transaction.
